Oliver Swan-Jackson

Oliver is a professional Ballet Dancer. Born in Berkeley, CA, he grew
up with his mother in London, England. He trained at the Central School
of Ballet in London, England, before moving to Orlando, FL, to be a
trainee with the Orlando Ballet under the directorship of Fernando
Bujones. He was an apprentice with the Orlando Ballet for a further two
years under Artistic Director Bruce Marks and was then promoted to full
company member for the 2008-2009 season.
Oliver danced with the Cape Town City Ballet in Cape Town, South Africa during their 2010-2011 season, performing at venues in: Cape Town, Grahamstown and Durban.
He is currently a member of the Suzanne Farrell Ballet. He recently toured with the company performing roles in Balanchine ballets such as Haieff Divertimento, Serenade, Pithoprakta and Diamonds from 'Jewels'.
The company performed in various cities around the US: Lawrence, K; Tallahassee, FL; Sarasota, FL; Amherst, MA; Lyndon, VT; Burlington, VT; the Joyce Theater NYC, NY; and Washington D.C. at the Kennedy Center.
