Joe Biden’s campaign quickly seized on a video posted to Donald Trump’s social media account that referenced a “unified Reich” as a possibility if the former president were to win back the White House in November.
“Trump posts a new ad foreshadowing a second Trump term that says he will create a ‘Unified Reich,’ echoing Nazi Germany,” the Biden campaign said after the text was spotted.
The video posited what another Trump term would look like, with face headlines mixed with smaller text. Below a headline with the words, “What’s next for America?” was a smaller headline that mentioned the “creation of a unified Reich.”
The Trump campaign tried to distance itself from the video. “This was not a campaign video, it was created by a random account online and reposted by a staffer who clearly did not see the word, while the president was in court,...

“Guy has an incredibly lively mind,” says “The Gentlemen” editor Matt Platts-Mills about the show’s creator, Guy Ritchie. “He won’t rest until he’s absolutely sure that he’s hit everything that’s possible with the scene, and that’s across everything. And he kind of develops ideas as he watches it. It’s kind of a ride in itself.” Watch our video interview above.
Platts-Mills edited three episodes of the Netflix comedy series: “An Unsympathetic Gentleman,” “All Eventualities” and the season finale, “The Gospel According to Bobby Glass.” The eight-episode thrill-ride stars Theo James as Edward Horniman, who has unexpectedly inherited an estate of 15,000 acres and the title of Duke of Halstead from his deceased father. Unbeknownst to Horniman, it’s also home to a massive weed empire.

Robert De Niro had a few choice words for former President Donald Trump on this morning’s episode of The View. The actor was censored a total of four times for his language used to describe the “vicious” Republican candidate. De Niro has never been afraid of being vocal about his dislike for the former Potus. When The View hosts began to discuss the upcoming presidential election, the actor did not hold back, comparing Trump to the likes of Nazi leader Adolf Hitler and Italian dictator Benito Mussolini. “I don’t understand why people are not taking him seriously. You read about it historically in other countries that they didn’t take people seriously — Hitler, Mussolini,” De Niro said. “Who does not think that this guy is not gonna do exactly what he says he’s gonna do? He’s done it already.” ABC As the conversation continued, he turned...

Kung Fury— a 2015 English-language Swedish martial arts comedy film— is weirdly entertaining, the average critics’ consensus certified the movie fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with an impressive 86% score. Also, fans have showered their love for the David Sandberg (not to be confused with Shazam! director) written and directed movie.

As the movie claimed the astounding accolades, there was inherently another installment in the making. The sequel of the Sandberg-led movie who played the title character, also starred Arnold Schwarzenegger. However, Kung Fury 2 has never seen the light of day. Jeffrey Katzenberg is a man known for choosing his words very carefully most of the time, and tonight the WndrCo boss was pretty candid when it came to Donald Trump and Joe Biden.
“I’ve known Donald Trump for 50 years,” Katzenberg told a well-heeled West Hollywood crowd on Sunday of first meeting the former president and 2024 GOP de facto nominee via his father back in the 1970s. “The only thing I can say is he was a colossal asshole then and nothing has really changed.”
“I’ve known Joe Biden for 40 years, maybe 45 years,” the Biden/Harris campaign co-chair added in contrast. “He is actually one of the most decent human beings I know.”

Kevin Macdonald's High & Low – John Galliano is now showing exclusively on Mubi in many countries.High & Low – John Galliano. What are the limits of forgiveness? Is making a documentary about a disgraced public figure, in which that remorseful person is allowed to try to explain their actions, inherently an act of damage-control propaganda? Or can it be a way of letting them tighten their own noose? Since its premiere at Telluride last September, Kevin Macdonald’s High & Low – John Galliano (2023) has fueled such heated conversations. Leaving many of its inquiries open-ended, this documentary is about neither complete condemnation nor exoneration. Instead, Macdonald tries to make sense of the enigma at his film’s center: a man who does not deny committing a hate crime over a decade ago, but who still claims to have no memory of the events or how he got there.Widely admired for his audacious style and designs,...

There’s something about a doppelganger that feels uniquely cinematic. A person who looks like you, thinks like you, and maybe even lives like you has always been a subject of fascination and dread in literature and philosophy, a concept that raises questions about individuality and the collective. But on the screen, seeing the effect of one person mimicked and duplicated proves all the more uncanny and unnerving. Science fiction, horror, and a multitude of other genres have used duality as a means to terrify, unsettle, and provoke.
And then, of course, there’s the acting challenge. For an experienced actor or an up-and-comer alike, playing dual roles is the ultimate flex, a way to show your range in a single project. Whether playing twins or identical strangers, an actor who takes on a dual role has to manage the trick of being both an individual and a duo, of...

Director Guy Ritchie’s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is loosely based on a true story. During World War II, Nazi U-boats are slowly cutting off the UK from desperately needed supplies and troops from the United States. As Prime Minister Winston Churchill faces increasing pressure to surrender to Adolf Hitler, he seeks a rather unique solution.
Churchill wants to secretly strike a West African outpost that supplies the Nazi submarines with critical supplies. Cut off their supply chain, and you can end Nazi dominance over the Atlantic Ocean. But to conduct an unauthorized military strike, he needs an unauthorized strike team.
Churchill and his loyal men, Brigadier Gubbins and Ian Fleming, recruit Gus March-Phillips out of prison to lead the strike. The rebellious, uncouth, and possibly mad Gus agrees to the secret mission, provided he can recruit his own team.
He assembles a group of rogues, misfits, and murderers...

Guy Ritchie’s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is based on war correspondent Damien Lewis’s book of the same name, which tells the true story of an unsanctioned British military mission to sink the German ships that supplied all of their U-boats around the Spanish island of Fernando Po during World War II. The film also makes a point of announcing that the story comes from documents from Winston Churchill’s first term in office that were declassified in 2016, introducing each shrewd and ruthlessly efficient member of the ragtag crew carrying out this mission with a litany of their qualifications.
Narratively, the film plays out like a traditional historical thriller, yet it turns these men into impossibly proficient, virtually invincible killing machines who dispose of Nazis with such casual ease that they might as well be superheroes. And not only is the leader of this vicious, unruly pack, Major Gus March-Phillips,...

Joe Simon and Jack Kirby created Captain America in 1940 as a symbol of American propaganda. Enhanced by a powerful steroid, Steve Rogers was given over to the American military, given a colorful, American flag costume, and ordered to pummel Nazis. Indeed, on the cover of "Captain America Comics" #1, Steve can be seen punching Adolf Hitler in the face. After WWII ended, Captain America has been adrift in Marvel Comics, only finding usefulness as the leader of a ragtag group of other superbeings. It's astonishing how successful the character has been in the last 60 years or so, given that he clearly exists as a still-living relic of the Greatest Generation.
In 1944, Captain America first appeared in cinemas as the star of a 15-part Republic Pictures serial starring Dick Purcell. The character was altered dramatically for the serial, however. Instead of a weakling soldier named Steve Roger enhanced by steroids, Captain American...

In the "Star Trek" episode "Patterns of Force", Kirk (William Shatner) and Spock (Leonard Nimoy) visit the pre-warp planet of Ekos to find out what happened to John Gill (David Brian), an old history professor of Kirk's. Ekos, they find, has been culturally contaminated by Gill, as he taught them all about Nazi Germany in the 1930s, and the Ekosians have rearranged their society to match. They wear Nazi uniforms, praise John Gill as their Führer, and plan to exterminate their peaceful neighbor planet Zeon. The Zeon characters have names like Izak and Abrom.
There is also a secret resistance that Kirk and Spock can hide out with, and they eventually find a way to confront John Gill. Rapper Kanye West faces a new lawsuit filed in California, which alleges that he repeatedly subjected black employees to verbal abuse and made problematic statements wherein he praised Adolf Hitler as an “innovator.”

There is something odd about the DC Animated Universe that has captivated casual and hardcore fans since the shows in the universe began airing. This particular dissonance within the universe is something that is never explained inside or outside the narrative, but sets up a Battleworld-level landscape for the stories about our beloved heroes.
Justice League Unlimited was the concluding series in the Dcau
A theory on the internet attempts to rationalize this narrative dissonance, given that the characters existed in a world that simultaneously had outdated technology coexisting with future tech. This ‘fractured timeline’ theory finds its basis in the episode where the Justice League had to fight Vandal Savage.
Vandal Savage’s technology ‘fractured’ the timeline Vandal Savage in Justice League: Doom
In one of the episodes of the show, Vandal Savage goes back in time to give himself the technology that would help him overthrow Adolf Hitler.

Kanye West (Ye) was considered a successful rapper until a few years ago. However, this has changed recently, as both his behavior and controversial statements have led fans to believe that something is amiss with him. The recent events he has been involved in are a prime example of this.
West has been accused of some very serious allegations by his former employee in a lawsuit filed last Tuesday. The allegations include West’s bad attitude towards his employees, threatening them, racism, and even religious discrimination.

Kanye West is probably one of the most chaotic personalities on the planet. From ranting on about Hitler’s greatness to jumping up and down with a Mario voice, West has garnered a lot of spotlight and also, a lot of attention.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), it was allegedly revealed that Kanye West is getting sued for workplace abuse. The compiled tweet showcased the various things that West has done over time and how the musician just keeps going further and further (and not in a good way)!

Logan Lerman and Joey King star in the Hulu series, We Were The Lucky Ones, based on the book of the same name by Georgia Hunter. The series and book explore the dramatized version of how siblings Addy and Halina, the former of whom is Hunter’s grandfather, survived the Holocaust. While promoting the series on the red carpet of its premiere at the Academy Museum in Los Angeles, Lerman shared that the story drew him because it was a ‘real’ Holocaust story.

Lerman also shared that he felt other fictional movies on the subject were exploitative and wrong. However, Lerman starred in the Prime Video series, Hunters, a conspiracy drama that tells the fictional story of a group of real Nazi hunters.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer criticized Donald Trump for saying that any Jewish person voting for Democrats “hates their religion.”
Trump was recently asked on a podcast hosted by his former White House aide Sebastian Gorka, America First with Sebastian Gorka Podcast, about the criticism from the Biden administration and Schumer of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“I actually think they hate Israel,” he claimed. “I don’t think they hate him, I think they hate Israel. And the Democrat Party hates Israel.”
“Any Jewish person that votes for Democrats hates their religion,” he added. “They hate everything about Israel, and they should be ashamed of themselves because Israel will be destroyed.”
Trump slammed Schumer, who recently condemned Netanyahu’s government and demanded new elections in a speech on the Senate floor about Israel’s war on Hamas and the subsequent humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Donald Trump has embraced fascist rhetoric and made bald declarations of his desire for dictatorial powers as he seeks a return to the White House in 2024. This is not politics as usual. The inflammatory language puts Trump a world apart from any presumptive, major-party nominee in modern American memory. And it’s getting worse.
In May, Trump’s account on Truth Social posted a campaign-style ad that flashed imagined scenes of the nation following a Trump victory in November. Using a German word for “empire,” unambiguously linked to Hitler, the video foreshadowed a “Unified Reich.

During a rally in Dayton, Ohio, last week, Former President Donald Trump declared that some illegal immigrants should not be considered people and warned that it will be a “bloodbath” if he does not get reelected.
“I don’t know if you call them people,” Trump stated at the rally. “In some cases, they’re not people, in my opinion. But I’m not allowed to say that because the radical left says that’s a terrible thing to say.”
Trump was in Ohio to campaign with Senate candidate Bernie Moreno, who went on to win the Republican nomination to challenge Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown.
Moreno, a businessman, faced a scandal when it was revealed that a profile on an adult website was linked to him seeking the company of “young men.”
“We don’t need to vote in five different languages,” he argued. “We learn the language. It means you assimilate.

Few actors have embodied the full range of modern German history on screen as has Christian Friedel.

Dune was once considered to be the most unadaptable of novels in Western literature, but that did not stop filmmakers from trying to come up with new and innovative ways to communicate the themes, visuals, and motifs of Dune in a visual format. However, while Denis Villeneuve has managed to adapt the first novel in the series with breathtaking visual quality, the adaptation is incomplete without a third entry in the series.
Timothee Chalamet as Paul Atreides and Austin Butler as Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen
While the novel heavily explores themes of oppression, religious zealotry, and material dependence, the book also leans into some themes that might come off as leaning towards a White Savior narrative. Given that Paul is painted in a much more heroic light in Villeneuve’s adaptation of Dune, this might come off as one of the motives of the story. However, come the third film in the franchise,...

Trump spoke at the Black Conservative Federation’s annual Gala in Columbia, South Carolina. There, he stated, “I got indicted a second time and a third time and a fourth time, and a lot of people said that that’s why the black people like me.”
Trump attempted to relate his issues to the issues faced in the black community. “Because they have been hurt so badly and discriminated against, and they actually viewed me as I’m being discriminated against,” he said.

For fans of World War II period dramas and the original "Percy Jackson" films, I have incredible news. The limited series "We Were the Lucky Ones" is coming to Disney's newly-purchased Hulu very soon, and it looks like it's going to be worth the wait.

After a number of delays, rappers Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign finally released their collaborative album “Vultures 1.” But was it worth the wait? And is it possible to separate West’s music from his controversial behavior and antisemitism?
As of this writing “Vultures” has a MetaCritic score of 49 based on just four reviews counted so far, all of which are classified as mixed — none outright negative, but none outright positive either. Scott Glaysher (HipHopDX) gives the highest rating, an ambivalent three out of five, and he concludes, “Listeners, fans, haters and hopefuls will be in the same place they were before the album dropped: confused, disappointed, but holding onto the idea that the Kanye we all fell in love with can still deliver undeniably good music that is worth defending.”

After Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson and Russian President Vladimir Putin sat down for an interview, many journalists have criticized Carlson’s limp style that allowed many of Putin’s outlandish claims to go uncorrected.
Carlson conducted a two-hour interview with Putin, now posted to X. In the interview, the topic of Adolf Hitler’s invasion of Poland arose. The two spoke about Europe’s history in which Putin cited Nazi rhetoric. Carlson did not challenge Putin’s claims.
Putin said, “So before World War II, Poland collaborated with Hitler. And although it did not yield to Hitler’s demands, it still participated in the partitioning of Czechoslovakia together with Hitler, as the Poles had not given the Danzig corridor to Germany, and went too far, pushing Hitler to start World War II by attacking them.”
Respected historians have universally blamed Nazi Germany for instigating World War II.

Ozzy Osbourne criticises ‘antisemite’ Kanye West for using sample: Want no association with this man
Rocker Ozzy Osbourne has called out rapper Kanye West, whom he said is “antisemite”, for using a sample of his music without permission and said that he wants “no association with this man.” Osbourne took to Instagram, where he shared that he had denied the request for a portion of a 1983 live version of the Black Sabbath song ‘War Pigs’ to be used on West’s new album.
However, he claimed that he heard it was used anyway during a listening party.
The rocker wrote on Instagram: “Kanye West asked permission to sample a section of a 1983 live performance of ‘Iron Man’ from the US festival without vocals & was refused permission because he is an antisemite and has caused untold heartache to many.”
Osbourne added: “He went ahead and used the sample anyway at his album listening party last night. I want no association with this man.”
