- Along with Bar-Zemer, his partner, Hill redeveloped many dilapidated buildings in the seedy-side of downtown Los Angeles, California. They included the Toy Factory Lofts, Biscuit Company Lofts, the 7+ Bridge Lofts, and the Elysian Lofts.
- His family survivors include Dr. Patricia Gordon, his 2nd wife; Allie Weinstein, his step-daughter; and two brothers, Andrew and Rick.
