There are few metal bands that -like a fine wine gathering dust in a dark, dripping cellar --have appreciated with age. Sure, there are plenty that you can grasp by their cool neck; blow the dust off so the label becomes visible, and drink deeply from, but often times their vintage grows sour beneath the passage of time. Due to lineup changes, legal problems, drug addiction, and a number of other calamities, Metal bands have an incredibly high rate of atrophy -much like grapes dropping off the vine. However, in this case, I have the pleasure of savoring a new draught from an old favorite -a band that gathers no dust, specially cultivated to provide a rich flavor, and richer sound, with every drink from their new album, Time Waits For No Slave.
