If you wish the third season of Heartstopper would come out now, you're not alone.
Heartstopper Season 2 Episode 8 left us with one of the sweetest cliffhangers we have ever seen, and if you weren't kicking your feet in the air as Charlie typed those words on his phone, were you watching the same show and, more importantly, are you okay?
We were almost guaranteed to get a third season of the show. Now, the most challenging part is the waiting period.
We have compiled all the information you need about the season as we await the release to tide you over.
Once it comes out, we will update this post with new information, so you might want to bookmark it.
Will There Be a Third Season of Heartstopper?
We could have answered this question in the affirmative one year ago because a show rarely gets renewed for multiple seasons after the freshman has premiered.

Paris has been the backdrop to many a great romance, and in Heartstopper, that’s no different. A school trip to the French capital in season two is the site of an instant connection between boy…. and bookshop. When Isaac Henderson sees Shakespeare and Co. on the banks of the River Seine, it’s love at first sight. He’s punch-drunk in its aisles, wandering around with wide eyes, balancing an ever-growing stack of titles in his arms and basking in the literary sunshine.
It’s not as though Isaac didn’t come to Paris pre-stocked with books (it’s a good job the schools travelled by coach and not air – you could hardly ask this teen to load up a Kindle). The boy’s never seen without a paperback. Reading is part-obsession, part comfort-blanket to him. Books, as they are for a lot of us, are his shield against the world.

Season 2 of young adult romance “Heartstopper” has arrived on Netflix, accompanied by a soundtrack filled with pop and rock. Adapted from Alice Oseman’s graphic novels, the new season continues the cute, queer, colorful and cartoon-embellished story.
Now that they are boyfriends, Nick Nelson (Kit Connor) and Charlie Spring (Joe Locke) face the nuanced challenges of Nick’s decision to come out to his family and friends. Elle Argent (Yasmin Finney) and Tao Xu (William Gao) fight their own butterflies. Tara Jones (Corinna Brown) and Darcy Olsson (Kizzy Edgell) are back with their relationship road bumps — and let’s not forget our favorite bookworm, Isaac Henderson (Tobie Donovan).
The first episode kicks off on a solid note with Maggie Rogers’ “Shatter” and Fitz and the Tantrums’ “Out of My League.” The 1975’s “The Sound” uplifts episode three after a stressful round of testing for the Year 11 students. Taylor Swift’s...

The gift of Netflix’s beloved “Heartstopper” lies in how it showcases queer storytelling in a way that feels joyous, heartwarming and tender to watch.
That’s not to say there isn’t room in the television landscape for more mature representations of queer youth. But at the heart of “Heartstopper” is a utopian vision of queer high school life, a rarely represented freedom to simply be and love who you are meant to during those formative high school years.
Here, the emphasis isn’t on bullying or the trauma that queer teens face, like on “13 Reasons Why.” Rather, we get to follow characters leaning into their identity and trying to find joy and community. It is arguably radical storytelling in the canon of queer representation, and feels necessary in a world where any progress for queer people is met with repressive backlash.
Thankfully, “Heartstopper” returns more compelling and...

How long has Charlie Spring waited to call Nick Nelson his boyfriend? It seemed like forever, but the end of forever is here.
Netflix released the trailer for the much-anticipated Heartstopper Season 2, and it teases a lot.
Nick and Charlie are having the time of their lives together as they flirt and kiss at every chance.
Charlie can't wait to tell his friends Tao Xu and Isaac Henderson he has a boyfriend; the declaration lovingly disgusts them.
However, there is a small problem for Nick. He's not out to anyone.
The trailer teases his mission of coming out to people, and the first person is Imogen, but before he can say the words, he chickens out.
Charlie comforts him, telling him he should come out how and when he wants.
But the first failure doesn't deter him from making subsequent attempts, and he sets his sights on coming out to the rugby lads (oof!

Netflix unveiled the opening scene for “Heartstopper” Season 2 on Saturday, and we hope you’re ready.
Set to Maggie Rogers’ “Shatter,” Charlie Spring (Joe Locke) wakes up to his alarm and an Instagram Dm from his new boyfriend Nick Nelson (Kit Connor). The excitement fizzles as Charlie anticipates their first day of school publicly being out as a couple.
It all goes back to the classroom where they first met.

Netflix also released the titles of all eight episodes — “Out,” “Family,” “Promise,” “Challenge,” “Heat,” “Truth / Dare,” “Sorry” and “Perfect.”
Season 1 left off with Nick confessing his feelings for Charlie, who was out and proudly gay when he met Nick. Nick identifies as bisexual. He also came out to his mother Sarah (Olivia Colman) in a touching scene last season.

Heartstopper fans, if only Heartstopper fans, will understand when I say that there is almost too much to unpack in the Season 2 photos that Netflix released on Wednesday. (Check out the whole batch here.)
A few of the shots are standard-issue: Kit Connor’s Nick Nelson looking for all the world like the golden retriever that he is, Joe Locke’s Charlie Spring gazing, obviously, at his newly minted boyfriend in the halls of Truham, Tobie Donovan’s Isaac Henderson loading up on reading material in his happy place. But other pictures… well, they are more revealing.

On April 22, Netflix released all eight episodes of "Heartstopper," a new young adult romantic comedy series. Set in southeast England, the show follows Charlie (Joe Locke), a high school student who recently came out - or, more accurately, was forced out - as gay. He knows better than to crush on a straight boy, but finds himself falling for rugby star Nick Nelson (Kit Connor). Over the course of the series, I didn't just fall in love with Charlie and Nick, but also with the friends and world around them. It's a gorgeous, funny, lovely rom-com series that spotlights LGBTQ+ teens in an authentic way.
