Mac Sinise, the son of Forrest Gump actor Gary Sinise, has died at 33.
A tribute revealed that McCanna Anthony “Mac” Sinise was diagnosed with “a very rare” form of cancer called Chordoma.
Mac was diagnosed in 2018 and passed away earlier this winter.
His diagnosis came just two months after Moira Sinise (Gary’s wife) was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.
Moira went through chemotherapy and radiation and has been in remission and cancer-free since then.
Mac had surgery to remove a tumor a month after his diagnosis, but after further treatment, the cancer returned and spread.

If you think Terrence Mallick makes films infrequently, consider the career of Robin Hardy, who gained acclaim for his direction of the 1973 British horror classic The Wicker Man. In the ensuing decades, Hardy has been associated with precisely three other feature films, all little-seen: as writer of Forbidden Sun (1989), The Wicker Tree (2011, as writer and director) and the 1986 film The Fantasist, which he also wrote and directed. The latter film suffered from a botched release and poor reviews, with the verdict being that Hardy's much-anticipated return to filmmaking was a letdown. Scorpion Releasing has issued The Fantasist on DVD and the movie deserves to be re-evaluated with the passage of time.
The film is set in Ireland and Hardy makes excellent use of both urban and rural locations. Moira Harris (sometimes billed as Moira Sinise nowadays due to her marriage to actor Gary Sinise), an actress who is American by birth,...

Forrest Gump star Gary Sinise has become the latest victim of California's ongoing property slump - he is selling his Calabasas home for less than he paid for it six years ago.
The actor and his wife Moira Harris have placed their five-bedroom property on the market for a little under $1.9 million (£1.2 million) - more than $500,000 (£312,500) less than it was worth to them in 2004.
According to celebrity property website RealEstalker.com, the couple has been trying to sell the gated estate since October 2008, when Sinise and Harris first put the home on the market for $2.2 million (£1.38 million).
