In pursuit of the rare novelization of Bob Clark’s Black Christmas, Thomas Altman’s book of the same name is bound to come up sooner or later. Some might even purchase the 1983 novel, thinking it and Lee Hays’ adaptation of the 1974 screenplay are one and the same. Sadly, at least for fans of Clark’s movie, these books bear no connection other than their shared title.
Before tossing out or selling that copy of Altman’s Black Christmas, however, maybe reconsider. This vintage curio not only has its own merits, it’s also a guaranteed source of gruesome horror set around the holidays.

Ocean Spray is hoping JoJo Siwa can help it “wiggle wiggle” into the hearts—and stomachs—of Gen Z.
The cranberry brand has been keeping a close eye on TikTok. Back in 2020, it surprised Nathan Apodaca—a creator who went viral with a video where he sang while skateboarding and drinking a bottle of Ocean Spray—with a new truck and at least a month or so’s supply of juice.
Now its latest campaign features a jiggling cylinder of the familiar (and beloved/detested) holiday dinner cranberry sauce overlaid with the song “Wiggle, Wiggle, Jiggle, Jiggle” by Mack Goudy Jr.
@itsjojosiwa #duet with @oceanspray #jigglewithus into the holidays, aka Ocean Spray cranberry sauce season!!! Because my holidays are anything but boring. Show me what you got. #ad ♬ Wiggle Wiggle Jiggle Jiggle – Ocean Spray Inc.
Siwa, as Ocean Spray’s partner for the campaign, was the first to duet the jiggling cranberry.

The family of the writer of the 1970s hit "Fallin' in Love" has won a significant jury verdict against a music publisher accused of failing to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue. Fredricka Hamilton, the widow of songwriter and musician Dan Hamilton, and her step-daughter Danielle Plancich sued music industry veteran Henry Marx and his Music Force publishing company in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles. On Thursday a federal jury ruled unanimously that the Hamilton heirs should be awarded $562,317 in litigation stemming from the exploitation of the hit 1975 song. Photos: Top 10

Holby City star Adam Astill has revealed that his character Dan Hamilton is going to be "horrified" when his secret is discovered. In an upcoming episode, Dan's former partner Stephen Hopewell is admitted to the hospital with a wrist injury. When they later share a brief kiss, he is shocked to discover that Greg Douglas (Edward MacLaim) has spotted them. Dan is also currently planning his wedding to Chrissie (Tina Hobley) and their honeymoon. Speaking about Stephen's arrival at Holby, Astill told What's On TV: "Initially, it's one of shock and horror because he thinks that Stephen might be up to something. The BBC has defended broadcasting a kiss between two male Holby City characters. Complaints were received from "some viewers" who thought that the scene in the BBC One hospital drama between Dan Hamilton (Adam Astill) and Antoine Malick (Jimmy Akingbola) was "inappropriate". The storyline saw tension between Dan and Malick result in a physical fight, which led to the surgeon kissing his openly gay colleague. Responding to the complaints, the BBC stated: "Holby City aims to reflect real life in the setting of a medical drama and this means telling stories about characters from many different backgrounds, faiths, religions and sexualities. "We approach our portrayal of same-sex relationships in the same way as we do heterosexual relationships (more)...

Holby City's new recruit Adam Astill has hinted that his character Dan Hamilton will feature in a romance storyline with Chrissie Williams. The former Mistresses actor makes his debut in the BBC medical drama next week, when Dan is introduced as a new orthopaedic surgeon for the show. Dan has been billed as a charismatic and confident ladies' man who will "bring a spark to Holby in more ways than one" over the coming months. Speaking to Digital Spy about what's in store, Astill explained: "Well, without wanting to give too much away, one of his first tasks is to mentor Chrissie Williams, who is considering whether or not she's going to become a consultant nurse. "So Dan offers to mentor Chrissie through her training and, through that, they become quite close. There's (more)...

Click here to read the main part of the interview, in which Adam discusses the possibility of a romance between Dan and Chrissie Williams. Alternatively, read on for a bonus Q&A with Adam... How does Dan compare to characters that you've played in the past?
"He's quite different - obviously because he's a surgeon and he's so brilliant at what he does. But there are also similarities to characters that I've previously played. I often get cast as slightly repressed, middle-class Englishmen - I can't think why! (Laughs) So in that respect there's similarities to some of the characters I've portrayed in the past.
