All this hate over Haggis is all over the marks. Just because some members of a tv contest called AMPAS vote for his film instead of the most mainstream gay movie ever that doesn't mean he is homophobic.

It's kind of stupid how people put the homophobia in a contest against racism or another thing.

I compare this acts to sionism. Haggis' hate is for gays like sionism is for jews. It's an insult to those gays who just want their rights and to live according their own values in a peaceful world full of diversity. All this hate is just niggardliness from persons who are addicted to tv contests.

I don't think any of the films were the better ones of their year. They were just publicity and marketing more than artistic quality.
