Luxury fashion expert Charles Gross has signed with UTA for representation in all areas.
Gross has had a digital presence since 2014; he was a daily YouTube vlogger till 2019, then took a two-year break from social media and re-debuted on TikTok in 2021 as a soft-spoken luxe lifestyle enthusiast.
Now he’s grown his TikTok audience to 1.3 million people, and recently attended New York Fashion Week to provide live coverage as an official partner of Afterpay (Nyfw’s 2023 sponsor) and designer brands Kate Spade and Carolina Herrera.
Also recently, he collaborated with Estée Lauder, Rihanna‘s Fenty Beauty, Netflix (to promote its Jennifer Lopez documentary Halftime as well as its Ryan Reynolds-fronted sci-fi The Adam Project), and spent a year creating content with consignment boutique Fashionphile.
UTA tells Tubefilter it plans to help Gross “secure premier digital collaborations and expand his business across a range of verticals, which includes fashion, lifestyle,...

Scorpion has released the complete version of the 3-part 1978 mini series "The Dain Curse" as a double DVD set. The show has a checkered history in terms of home video. A truncated version was available for a while on VHS, then Image released the full three episodes on DVD. Now Scorpion has done the same and the quality of the set is very good, capturing the relatively rich production values of the series. Those of us of a certain age can remember when the major networks put a great deal of time, talent and financial resources into mini-series. In the 1970s and 1980s, many of these shows constituted "must-see" TV. In an age in which the average household didn't have video recorders, some shows were so special that people altered their lifestyles to ensure they could catch each episode. Today, those days seem long gone, with network...

Calvary director/writer John Michael McDonagh with Kelly Reilly at the Explorers Club: "Well, in Ireland, 'dirty little whore', it's almost like endearing."
John Michael McDonagh's Calvary stars Brendan Gleeson, Kelly Reilly, Chris O'Dowd, Isaach De Bankolé, Domhnall Gleeson, Dylan Moran with The Diving Bell And The Butterfly's Marie-Josée Croze, Aidan Gillen, Dylan Moran, M Emmet Walsh and David Wilmot. Fox Searchlight Pictures celebrated with a luncheon at the Explorers Club in New York with guests including Jimmy Breslin, Dana Delany, Jodi Applegate, Annette Insdorf, Eugene Hernandez, Joyce Carol Oates and Charles Gross.
I spoke with Kelly Reilly and what started out with Monica Vitti in Michelangelo Antonioni's Red Desert and Tippi Hedren's style in Hitchcock's The Birds, quickly turned to themes of forgiveness which brought us to develop a quick theory of a Holy Female Trinity holding Calvary together, before lunch was served.

In the pantheon of strange films, Blue Sunshine (1976) certainly holds a spot, and a high-ranking spot amidst the films of the 70’s. Written and directed by Jeff Lieberman (Squirm), this is a movie that appeals on more than one level. To some, the film will be a memorable b-movie experience, but it’s a drug-induced out-of-your-mind crazy experience as well. The film also appeals to those horror fans that enjoyed the early works of David Cronenberg, as it maintains a similar feel as movies like Rabid and Brood.
I saw this movie some years ago, but recently picked it up on DVD off that Internet thing. Sure, I could have purchased the Blue Sunshine DVD on it’s own, but part of the fun for me seeing it the first time was that I discovered it while watching Elvira’S Movie MacAbre on TV. Yeah, you got me… the original...
