- After her last roles, she moved from New York to Spain.
- She originally auditioned to play "Phoebe Smith" on The Edge of Night (1956) but did not get the part. She then was cast as Phoebe's friend, and, in about six months, the show offered her a contract to continue playing the friend.
- In the early 1970's, during her time on The Edge of Night (1956), she ran a weekly play reading group at St. Luke's Hospital in New York, and also worked in the hospital's detoxification ward with drug addicts. She referred to her volunteer work there as a very rewarding experience.
