William Goodhart is a Broadway playwright and screenwriter whose
interest in theology and the occult led him to the original ideas for
both
Generation (1969) and
Exorcist II: The Heretic (1977). Much of the inspiration for his stories came
from Teilhard de Chardin who believed that man and nature would inspire
to a oneness with god. Goodhart got that great task in 1999 when he
sadly passed away of cancer.
