Fremantle Spain boss Nathalie Garcia is heading to ITV Studios to head up a new entity helming evergreen formats in the nation.
ITV Studios Iberia will open next month and produce the likes of The Voice (La Voz), The Voice Kids(La Voz Kids) and The Chase (El Cazador) from Madrid, where Garcia will report to ITV Studios’ Managing Director, International Production, Lisa Perrin.
Garcia has spent the past decade as CEO of Fremantle Spain, where she oversaw the production of entertainment formats such as Got Talent España and The Masked Singer; game shows like Password; and reality show The Farm, among others. Prior to her position at Fremantle Spain, Nathalie was CEO of Plural Entertainment, Media Capital/Prisa’s production label and Managing Director of the TV division of Vértice 360 Group.

Spanish journalist and editor David Jimenez’s revealing autobiography “El Director” is being made into a TV series by Fremantle.
Jimenez was a seasoned international correspondent, covering conflicts, disasters, and major events for over two decades, before becoming editor in chief of Spanish daily newspaper El Mundo in 2015. In his book he details how he fought to defend the newspaper from political and business interests, as well as media executives, offering a candid look at a modern newsroom, and at modern-day journalism.
The book created a stir in Spain, notably among the country’s press corps.
