Scottish concert news website gigsinscotland.com has released an updated listing for future performance dates. Artists added to the list include Brit award-winning singer-songwriter James Morrison, indie sweethearts The Maccabees and the four-piece West Yorkshire rock band The Cribs.
James Morrison will be supported by OneRepublic at his Glasgow and Aberdeen appearances this November. The shows form a chunk of the musician's inaugural U.K. headline arena tour.
Morrison's 2006 debut single "You Give Me Something" became a stand-out anthem, garnering him widespread critical praise and commercial success. His 2008 follow-up album "Songs for You, Truths for Me" features the chart-topping collaboration with Nelly Furtado entitled "Broken Strings".
Gigs in Scotland also announced Scotland tour dates for several more acts including Shed Seven, Rise Against, Stephen Fretwell, Jack Savoretti, Frankmusik, Nine Black Alps and Jill Jackson.

British musician Jarvis Cocker will be joining other stars to help raise money for a children's hospital in Liverpool next month. The former front man of Pulp will be performing in Manchester at the Royal Northern College of Music on April 16 to take part in the second John Lennon "Imagine" Charity Fundraiser.
The "Imagine" charity was founded by James Harrington to raise money for the Alder hey Children's Hospital, which is the largest children's hospital in Europe. The hospital was established in 1914 to help care for sick children and treats more than 200,000 young patients every year.
Donations received by the hospital help to improve the quality of life for kids in the hospital, build a better environment and helps provide support to patients and their families.
