While working on his draft of "SWAT" with Zach Snyder, developed the
character eventually played by Michelle Rodrieguez, specifically for
that actress after having seen her in "Girlfight" the year before at
Sundance.
His adaptation of Robert James Waller's "Puerto Vallarta Squeeze"
(written with then writing partner Ami Canaan Mann) was approved by
Waller himself.
Best known for developing the script "El Phantasma" about Masked
Mexican Wrestlers fighting ancient Aztec evil (1999).

His full name being Craig Steven Fernandez, he's named after the actor
Craig Stevens because his father enjoyed said actor's portrayal of
"Peter Gunn", the jazz-listening Detective of the early 60's.
