Destiny’s Child is one of the biggest, most influential R&b-pop girl groups of all time.
The legendary troupe first debuted in the late ‘90s, delivering hits like “No, No, No,” “Bills, Bills, Bills” and “Say My Name” that sent them skyrocketing to superstardom in the music industry.
Throughout the years, the group experienced several member lineup shake-ups, before ultimately landing on their most well-known iteration, dubbed “DC3.” Together, the trio would release fun, empowering smashes like “Survivor,” “Bootylicious” and “Independent Woman Pt. 1.”
Since their last studio album in the mid ‘00s, Destiny Fulfilled, all of the members have gone on to embark on solo ventures expanding beyond music into acting, writing, presenting, and appearing as judges on popular reality TV shows.

Former Destiny's Child singer Farrah Franklin didn't join Beyonce on stage at Coachella, but she's making it clear -- she's fully on board for the next reunion ... if the queen will have her. Farrah was a member of DC for about 6 months in 2000 -- she was on the "Say My Name" remix -- and she watched Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams onstage last weekend. Zero bitterness, though ... she says she was thrilled like everyone else.

Latavia Roberson may have been kicked out of Destiny’s Child — but she’s still a “Survivor.”
“There are a lot of things that I’ve gone through — molestation, dealing with alcoholism and drugs,” Roberson tells People exclusively of the subjects she’ll broach in her upcoming memoir, I Am Latavia, due in the spring of 2017.
And there’s of course one topic she won’t be shying away from: her nasty departure from one of the biggest girl groups of all time in 1999.
Roberson was an original member of Destiny’s Child, along with Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and LeToya Luckett.

Fifth Harmony will neither be the first nor the last girl group to have a member leave in the height of popularity. The pop group announced Sunday that Camila Cabello had decided to leave the group, but the rest of the band would continue on its tour. In hindsight, signs of Camila's departure had been made clear for a while, but Harmonizers didn't expect her to leave mid-tour; however, other girl groups such as Destiny's Child, Spice Girls and more have experienced the same type of sudden exit. Over the course of the band's career, Destiny's Child lost three members: Farrah Franklin, LeToya Luckett and Latavia Roberson. Franklin joined the Beyoncé-led group after Luckett and Roberson...

As the music industry plans to hand out awards for the best of 2014, it’s hard not to reflect on the GRAMMYs ceremony that happened just 15 years prior. The year was 2000, but in actuality it was a reflection of 1999, when just about anything could happen. Jennifer Lopez launched her musical career, Britney Spears brought back the Catholic schoolgirl outfit, and TLC was suddenly a group again (and not just a TV channel). But the year was more than that. And the 42nd annual Grammy Awards attempted to capture that – for better or worst.

Ex-Destiny's Child Member -- I Was Racially Profiled!
Former Destiny's Child singer Farrah Franklin claims she was "manhandled" and the victim of racial profiling when she was taken into custody last Saturday.
Franklin tells TMZ, "Unfortunately, I am the latest victim on what seems to be a growing list of those who are racially profiled and mistreated by Culver City Police. I was manhandled by the arresting officers."
But the Culver City Pd begs to differ, telling TMZ, they were simply responding to a telephone complaint by a citizen who claimed Franklin was disturbing the peace.
Franklin says, “I am really upset about all that has taken place. I have never had a run in with the law before Saturday. On Saturday I was not arrested, I was detained."
Again, cops beg to differ, saying Franklin was indeed arrested for disorderly conduct.
