At the beginning of today's podcast we discuss the fact this will be the last regularly scheduled Tuesday episode as the RopeofSilicon Podcast is moving to a once a week model, that being the Friday, premium episode. We discuss the ins and outs of this decision in the opening minutes of today's episode and welcome all comments, but due to scheduling difficulties that have arisen over the past six months or so and other factors, this is a decision that has been some time in the coming. Otherwise, today's episode is damn near 90 minutes long and for those keeping up with "Game of Thrones" we have a lengthy discussion regarding the controversy surrounding the final minutes of the latest episode. I do give a spoiler warning for anyone not wanting to listen. On top of that we have a new bit of trailer talk listening to the first Steve Jobs trailer,...

If only the podcast was our only job. I'm convinced we could bring you a full three hours every day of movie news and nonsense, but instead we only have time for a couple hours a week as today's episode kicks off with a Seattle bike riders rant preceded by a look through the Magnolia Pictures award season screeners and followed by a look at Interstellar's box office performance and the nature of complex blockbusters in general and then some games in what felt like a very short episode, but still ended up being 52 minutes long. Hope you enjoy! If you are on Twitter, we have a Twitter account dedicated to the podcast at @bnlpod. Now that it's episode #301 it feels like we are starting all over again, but I think we have a good one for you to begin as we listen to Shia Labeouf tell a story to Jimmy Kimmel about his arrest after a performance of "Cabaret", we talk more about Gone Girl as to who should be blamed for what took place, complain about Burger King and cable prices, talk new DVDs and Blu-ray, answer your questions, play some games and much more. Hope you enjoy! If you are on Twitter, we have a Twitter account dedicated to the podcast at @bnlpod. Today we're spending a little time discussing the formula the Marvel movies follow and just maybe what they could do to make things a little different. We're also talking the fourth season premiere of "Game of Thrones", new DVDs and Blu-rays, plenty of your questions and our regular assortment of games, plus a quick RottenTomatoes game as Laremy tries to guess the movie based on Peter Travers' blurb. If you are on Twitter, we have a Twitter account dedicated to the podcast at @bnlpod.
