Some film buffs were in for quite a scare this past May at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival when a series of small explosions went off during a live taping of Le Grand Journal. Although it was initially reported the noise was caused by gunshots, police later confirmed it was actually blanks. On Monday, the man behind the incident, 43-year-old Stephane Cros, was sentenced to 18 months in prison, per The Hollywood Reporter.
