In the 1970s, Bill was the host of a highly rated overnight talk show
on WCAU-AM in Philadelphia. Psychic Howard Sheldon set a Guiness World
Record when over 355,000 callers attempted to call Corsair's show one
evening.
His daughter, Robin, lives with her husband Jim in North Carolina, her
daughter, Lindsay and Jim's daughter, April. Robin was 2002's "Craven
County's Teacher of the Year." She gives lectures and conducts seminars
throughout the summer months.
In 2003 he won the prestigious Screen Actors Guild Award for his role
as the Movietone Newsreel Announcer in the multiple award winning film,
"Chicago".
Bill Corsair is the husband of actress Janis Corsair. Ms. Corsair is a Screen Actors Guild Award winner, ("Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.") for her role in "Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)"
Ms. Corsair also co-hosted the TV show "Corsair & Co." which was a Post-Newsweek Broadcasting owned show originating out of Hartford, Connecticut on WFSB-TV. She was the voice of BMW (1993-1994.).
