- Marilyn Cooper was born on December 14, 1934 in New York City, New York, USA. She was an actress, known for Keeping the Faith (2000), Family Business (1989) and The Survivors (1983). She died on April 22, 2009 in Englewood, New Jersey, USA.
- Won Broadway's 1981 Tony Award as Best Actress (Featured Role - Musical) for "Woman of the Year," a role she recreated in the television version of the same title, Woman of the Year (1984).
- Was featured as Rosalia in the original Broadway production of "West Side Story" in 1957. She also appeared in the 1964 revival.
- She was interred at Mount Judah Cemetery in Ridgewood, Queens, New York.
