Plot: A nineties TV family finds their home invaded by Russian gangsters. The family’s useless patriarch, Bernie (Nick Frost), a devout Christian with long-suppressed psychotic tendencies, must unleash those urges to save his family.
Review: It happens every year. There’s always at least one movie at Sundance every year that tests my commitment to sitting through pretty much everything I see. This, however, was a tough one. I haven’t had this much of a difficult time with a Sundance movie since The Greasy Strangler, with it being a grating, 85-minute joke that goes on at least 80 minutes too long. It’s a slog.

It looks like we’ll be seeing Gotti on the big screen, after all. A deal just came through for Gotti filmmakers that will allow a wide release instead of a VOD release. MoviePass Ventures has announced that it has taken an equity stake at Kevin Connelly’s Gotti, a movie that was going to be released under Lionsgate Premiere until the filmmakers decided to exercise the buy-back clause. Gotti is the story of New York City’s most infamous mobster, the head of the Gambino crime family, John Gotti. The movie is currently scheduled to get its wide release on June 15

Mark Wahlberg has confirmed plans are underway for an 'Entourage' movie.
