- He is the current owner of Burt Reynolds' custom 1979 General Motors Promotional Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz.
- By age 21, had a modest collection of 2 Rolls Royce, 3 Bentley's, and 1 Jaguar.
- Drove Alfred Hitchcock around the Universal Studios lot in a golf cart.
- Lived in Greta Garbo's Hollywood Hills Mansion.
- In 1971 Barron was ask to show the "The Godfather" author, Mario Puzo's daughter, Dorothy, around the Paramount Studios lot. After visiting every sound stage and production department, Dorothy gave Barron a small wallet size black and white picture of herself. On the back in pencil, she wrote what fun she had, had and could we do this again soon. On several occasions after that, we would explore Paramount and have lunch at the Studio Commissary. Although she was younger than Barron, Dorothy was uncommonly gracious and mature beyond her age.
- Soon after that, the president of the Paramount Studio Club, Bill Crescent invited, or rather insisted that Barron become a member of the exclusive club. Jumping at the honor, Barron was then able to see all of the studios upcoming film previews in the small theater set aside for this purpose. Another perk of being a Studio Club member gave Barron access to the studio gym where he would often work out with studio executives and celebrities. This advantage gained Barron access to many high profile events and parties, thus giving him the undeserved reputation of being a playboy.
- Since age has given way to his once innocent boyish looks, Barron seems to cast these days in heavy or eccentric character roles. Some examples are, being cast as the unsympathetic billionaire, Carl Simons, in Eddie Murphy's 2009 film "Imagine That", and the corrupt perverted Congressman Dunham, in the 2010 Clock Tower production film "Smoke" as well as a deliciously evil priest in the video short, "Alter Call" in which he clubs the lead actor over the head with a rusty shovel. Barron mentioned in an interview that these roles put the fun back into acting.
