- Wrote the 1975 off-Broadway musical "Zinger", which ran briefly at the P.A.F. Playhouse in Huntington, Long Island. "Zinger" was directed by his brother, Steve Chapin, and starred Pat Benatar, Beverly D'Angelo and gave Christine Lahti her first equity role.
