Joan Collins is a Senior Producer who Heads Content & Production Technologies with West Coast Pictures. She is the Chair Emeritus of the Los Angeles ACM SIGGRAPH, where she has continuously served SIGGRAPH for over 40 years. She works with Large Feature-VFX, Immersive Experiences, Animation, Original-Content With Chain-Of-Title, Commercials, Interactive Real-Time Entertainment, Mixed Reality, Real Time Live Performance & Musicals and Concert Tours.
Joan does Pipeline and System Configuration for: 3D Computer Graphics, VFX, Audio/Visual, 2D, Pre-Viz-through-Post Compositing, Interactive Techniques, Immersive Projection, Video Arrays, Multi-Source etc.
JOAN COLLINS has produced computer-graphics for more than thirty-five years including: "Hoodwinked Too", "Starship Troopers," "Starman," "SLiTHER," "The Ghost and the Darkness," "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow," "FreeJack with Mick Jagger," "Fern Gulley: The Last Rainforest with Bill Kroyer," "Stuart Little." "Bebe's Kids," "Hellraisers," "Dungeons & Dragons," and "Judge Dredd with Sylvester Stallone." She Co-Produced SIGGRAPH's "The Story of Computer Graphics." Joan Collins has done extensive work for Bond Companies to get cg-movie projects finished.
Joan Collins is the first female recipient of the 2022 "Tesla Award for Visionary Achievement in Filmmaking Technology."
UCLA Computer Graphics, Joan was in the first group through the Computer Graphics Department, and was a T.A. for John Whitney, Sr.
