- Lothar Blumhagen was born on July 16, 1927 in Leipzig, Germany. He was an actor, known for Das Vergnügen, anständig zu sein (1962), Nathan der Weise (1967) and Hexen (1954). He died on January 10, 2023 in Berlin, Germany.
- He was awarded the title Berliner Staatsschauspieler in 1970.
- He was a stage actor in Leipzig, Halle and Berlin, where he was a member of the ensemble of the Deutsches Theater Berlin from 1954 to 1956.
