Feel free to whistle — because this is one lawsuit worth checking out. Shoshana Roberts, the woman who starred in the infamous “catcall” YouTube video that went viral last fall, is now suing the video’s creator and director, Rob Bliss, for at least $500,000. Roberts, who was featured in the video walking the streets of New York City while men tried to catch her attention with verbal come-ons, alleges breach of contract, fraud, unjust enrichment, violations of her right to publicity and privacy, and violations of New York’s Civil Rights Law. Step out of the vehicle, and hand over your holiday list. At a particularly sensitive time for police forces around the country, one department in Michigan is inspiring people with its own version of goodwill and generosity. Officers from the Lowell, Michigan, police department surprised plenty of drivers last month when they were pulled over for routine traffic stops. Instead of tickets, the unsuspecting motorists were about to receive gifts from their very own Christmas lists, an act of kindness all captured on video. Officer Scot VanSolkema acted as the department's Santa, wearing a hidden camera and microphone as he...

Comedian and Saturday Night Live castmember Michael Che was criticized on social media for Instagram and Facebook posts reacting to a viral video about street harassment. While the posts linked to on Che's Twitter account appear to be deleted, several news outlets, including Salon and Business Insider, captured screenshots and published them in critical stories about the comedian. What kickstarted Che's reaction was a video, "10 Hours of Walking in NYC as a Woman," by Shoshana B. Roberts and Rob Bliss, that shows Roberts being catcalled and verbally harassed by men more than 100 times as she walks around New York City. It has

It may be difficult to absorb the level of harassment women have to put up with in public on a daily basis until it is actually witnessed firsthand - which is exactly what this video offers. Rob Bliss of Rob Bliss Creative reached out to street harassment awareness group Hollaback! in August 2014 with an intriguing offer: He volunteered to walk around in front of actress Shoshana B. Roberts with a camera in his backpack for 10 hours to document the on-the-street harassment she faced on a daily basis. (Roberts held two microphones in her hands to capture the audio.) The resulting video is … not pleasant.

Rihanna's in the enviable position of being atop both the Worldwide and U.S. versions of our Top 50 this week. The singer with a single name rocketed up to the #1 spot thanks to her latest single What Now and ended the week with nearly 48.8 million views. In a distant second is Katy Perry, who's Roar is getting fainter and fainter as the weeks go by, yet still helped her channel command an impressive 39 million views. In third place this week is longtime chart-topper DisneyCollectorBR. The online video repository of unboxing, tutorial, and playtime videos for adolescent toys, witnessed a 37% week-over-week decrease in views, which was still good enough for 37.3 million. Rap God Eminem follows the channel of videos of children's toys in the #4 spot, with 35.9 million views on the week. And rounding out the Top 5 is Miley Cyrus, whose Wrecking Ball still has some momentum. The 20-year-old link bait amassed...

It's another installment of the weekly Tubefilter Chart of the Top 50 Most Viewed U.S. YouTube Channels and Jimmy Kimmel is in trouble with child psychologists. Chart Toppers The YouTube channel for Late Night with Jimmy Kimmel is in the #1 spot on our U.S. Top 50 thanks to a now controversial Halloween prank. As we explained in the Worldwide version of the charts this week, every year after October 31, the host of the ABC late night talk show instructs parents to tell their kids they ate all of their Halloween candy, record the semi-traumatic results, and upload the vids to YouTube. The team at Kimmel then cuts the best submissions together into a video. That video got enough views to bump Kimmel and company up to the top position on the chart with 47.44 million views on the week and also draw the ire of parents around the globe. Eminem wrapped...

When Gunnar and the Grizzly Boys posted their latest music video on Youtube, the country band claimed it had friends at Google who "bent the rules to make this video possible."
However, Reddit posters were quick to point out Gunnar and his Grizzly Boys could not actually have ambushed a Google Street View car.
The giveaway? Well, for starters, the band member's faces were not blurred out to protect their privacy in typical Google Street View fashion.
The next tip-off was the name of the Youtube account where the music video was posted: RobBlissCreative.
As one Reddit user notes, Rob Bliss is fairly well known for his involvement in viral marketing ideas. The Michigan native launched his own marketing company in November after splitting from Status Creative, a firm he created in 2011 with Jeff Barrett and Scott Erickson. While at Status Creative, Bliss helped create a popular lip-dub video of...

While posting these rarely seen pieces of concept art from "The Dark Knight," that were created by Rob Bliss ("Watchmen"), I realized there was a segment of Christopher Nolan's recent Q&A session that was pertinent and that I hadn't yet posted. To catch you up, Nolan was at the Water Reade Theater in New York’s Lincoln Center as a special guest of the Film Society, he discussed working with Heath Ledger and specifically the filming of the opening scene where we are first introduced to Batman's nemesis. You can either watch the video below or just read the transcript, both are provided. Christopher Nolan: "Well the first sequence we actually shot was the IMAX prologue, which was the bank robbery, where he has the mask on. I just really wanted him to enjoy that not worry about too much–you know the stakes weren’t too high.

Thursday, October 30, Grand Rapids, Michigan. A seemingly average midwestern city. Until the zombies invade. A throng of at least 3,370 zombies flowed through the downtown streets (it's very likely it was over 4,000) to try and break the world record for the largest zombie walk. The event, organized by college sophomore Rob Bliss, shattered the previous record of 1,375, set just a few days earlier in the Pittsburgh suburb of Monroevi ...
