Legend of the Seeker (TV) will kick off its second season this weekend and no one is more excited about it than series star Craig Horner, who plays the titular Seeker, Richard. When last seen, Richard had killed the villainous Darken Rahl (Craig Parker), and as the action-fantasy picks up the story, Richard knows better than to get too caught up in celebrating his victory, as evil of all kinds is lurking, threatening him, Zedd (Bruce Spence), Kahlan (Bridget Regan), and the people and land they love. PopStar recently caught up with Horner for the following exclusive interview. Let's go back to season one. How pleased were you with initial set-up of the story and the characters, and what intrigued you most about the way in which the season unfolded? The male nerd interest quotient just shot way up for Legend of the Seeker.

Actress Jolene Blalock (Vulcan T'Pol in Star Trek: Enterprise) is joining the cast of the New Zealand-based, Disney produced fantasy series as a recurring villain. According to a Disney press release, Blalock begins filming this week as "a mysterious Sister of the Dark who possesses very powerful magic."

It'll help you a lot to understand this next but if you're a fan of the show, but Blalock will not only threaten heroic Richard (Craig Horner) and "his quest to defeat evil forces," but her real goal is to destroy the lovely female lead, Kahlan (Bridget Regan).

Jolene Blalock Joins "Legend Of The Seeker" In Recurring Guest Role

"Star Trek" star Jolene Blalock has been tapped to star in a recurring role on the upcoming second season of "Legend of the Seeker," which is set to begin on November 7.

The 34-year-old actress will portray a mysterious Sister of the Dark who has a very powerful magic and whose ultimate goal is to destroy Kahlan (Bridget Regan). She will also threaten Richard's (Craig Horner) quest to defeat evil forces.

"Legend of the Seeker," based on the novels by Terry Goodkind, follows the epic journey of young woods guide Richard, mysterious woman named Kahlan, and a wizard named Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander to stop Darken rahl from unleashing an ancient power.

Bruce Spence and Craig Parker also star.

Actress Jolene Blalock, best known for her role as the Vulcan T'Pol in Star Trek: Enterprise has been cast in a recurring role on the upcoming second season of the nationally syndicated series Legend of the Seeker, it was announced today.

Blalock, who begins filming in New Zealand this week, will portray a mysterious Sister of the Dark who possesses very powerful magic -- she not only threatens Richard's (Craig Horner) quest to defeat evil forces, but her ultimate goal is to destroy Kahlan (Bridget Regan).

The second season of the action-adventure series Legend of the Seeker will premiere the weekend of November 7th. Combining elements of fantasy, adventure, magic, mystery and romance with state-of-the-art visual effects and a high level of action, the series is an adaptation of internationally best-selling author Terry Goodkinds "Sword of Truth" book series.
