- Her first cinema film was for Hammer, Kiss of the Vampire (1962), when she was 18. She told Cinema Retro magazine that the only difficult scene was the finale when all the bats attacked everyone. "Only they didn't tell us they'd put a few live bats in with the rubber ones!".
