The Colorado woman who cut a fetus out of a pregnant stranger has been convicted on charges of attempted first-degree murder, assault and unlawful termination of a pregnancy, according to multiple reports. Dynel Lane, 35, was found guilty on Tuesday after a seven-hour, two-day deliberation by a Boulder County, Colorado, jury, reported the Denver Post. Lane was convicted on all six felony counts, and ordered to be held without bond until sentencing on April 29, reported Colorado's Kusa. Prosecutors told the Post that Lane, who plead not guilty, could face up to 110-120 years in prison and a minimum sentence of 16 years.

Writer/director John Carl Buechler has been busy developing a remake of his 1986 creature fantasy Troll for a year or so now. But he hasn’t yet found a pair of young performers to play teen hero Harry Potter Jr. and his sister Wendy Anne yet, and has taken his search to the Internet.
In the just-posted YouTube video seen below, Buechler opens up a casting call for aspiring junior actors to audition on video for the roles originally played by Noah Hathaway (pictured) and Jenny Beck. The scenes they’ll need to perform on tape will be provided; parents and guardians might be advised to point out to their kids that this is the new Troll flick, not the latest Harry Potter epic, that they’re trying out for.
