Gail O’Neill, the fashion model who worked with brands like Michael Kors and Ralph Lauren, and also served as a TV correspondent for CBS, CNN and HGTV, has died. She was 61.
The model was in her Atlanta home when she died on Oct. 10, her former Click Model agent Stephanie Grill told The Hollywood Reporter. Her cause of death was not immediately known.
O’Neill was discovered by photographer Chuck Baker and his stylist wife Martha, who approached her at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York in 1985. She was doing marketing for Xerox at the time, and by the following year, she was on the cover of British Vogue.
It didn’t take very long for her career to take off after that. She landed modeling gigs with famous photographers, including Annie Leibovitz, Arthur Elgort, Gilles Bensimon, Steven Meisel, Albert Watson, Fabrizio Ferri, Alex Chatelain and Patrick Demarchelier.

As voiced by Dwayne "the artist formerly known as The Rock" Johnson, astronaut Chuck Baker is the paragon of all-American achievement -- that is, until he conquers a far off world with an unexpected population, one inexplicably steeped in our '50s-era culture and terrified by the prospect of an alien invader in human form. More unfortunately for us, Chuck has landed smack-dab in the middle of Planet 51, a short-sighted assembly of sci-fi references and scatalogical humor that should nonetheless placate undemanding tots and, by extension, their undiscerning parents for ninety minutes or so.

When "visiting" Planet 51, the movie seemed to have two goals in mind when it was being made. One was to make sure that plenty of science-fiction flicks, from the past, are referenced throughout the presentation. The other, make an animation that kids can get into. Gladly, this 90 minute feature accomplished both and it made it worth-while for the entire audience.
Our story begins with the depiction of a planet that looks like Earth, but has aliens running the show. The alien's mannerisms are just like humans, they just look like little green boogers. Although the buildings and technology have a futuristic vibe, the time period of this alien race is in the 1950s. Also, their intelligence level is about average of what the human race was at that time. So the planet gets turned upside down when astronaut Chuck Baker (voiced by Dwayne Johnson) lands on their planet.

More sneak peeks at "Planet 51" have been shared through a new extended clip and a fresh behind-the-scenes (Bts). The clip comes out courtesy of Yahoo! Movies and runs for two minutes long. Entitled "Big Bad Monster", it offers a look at the time Chuck Baker makes his first touch at the green aliens' planet and generates fear among the inhabitants.
The Bts, in the meantime, is found at Sony Pictures' YouTube account. In addition to the glimpses of new footage, it contains commentary about the characters and the story from some of the voice cast ensemble. Among those describing what the movie is all about are Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson,
Justin Long, Jessica Biel and Seann William Scott.
"Planet 51" tells the story of an American astronaut Chuck Baker, who lands on Planet 51 thinking he's the first person to step foot on it. But, he can't be more wrong about that.
