A few weeks ago I got to see about twenty minutes from Screen Gems upcoming movie Legion. While I didn’t see enough footage to say if the final film is going to be worth our time, one of the clips they showed us was great, and it just so happens Screen Gems released a clip from the scene today. Since I’d rather not spoil it, hit the jump and check it out. But I will say it involves a grandma named Gladys…
If you enjoy the clip, watch the trailer further down the page as it has a bit more from the scene.
If you’re not familiar with Legion, it’s a supernatural action thriller where an out-of-the-way diner becomes the unlikely battleground for the survival of the human race. When God loses faith in Mankind, he sends his legion of angels to bring on the Apocalypse. »

Grey’s Anatomy has been getting a lot of attention from us lately for its portrayal of a healthy lesbian relationship between Callie and Arizona.
But we would be remiss not to acknowledge Grey’s spin-off Private Practice — and not just because it features one of our favorite icons, Kate Walsh, as Dr. Addison Montgomery.
Although Pp doesn’t have a featured bisexual or lesbian character (that we know of), earlier this year the show featured a long-term female couple, one of whom had a stroke that, during the course of the episode, forced her to come out to her son.
The storyline was handled sensitively and reflected the experiences of many older lesbians who hid their sexual orientations while they raised a family.
Last week, a similar storyline hit a little closer to home for the good Dr. Montgomery. After years of believing that her father The Captain (Stephen Collins »

The Grey's Anatomy-Private Practice crossover is in full swing come January 14, with Mark Sloan (Eric Dane) at the center of both personal and professional drama.
With daughter Sloan (yes, that's her name, and Leven Rambin plays her) pregnant, Mark seeks the help of ex-flame Addison (Kate Walsh) when complications arise.
What this crossover means is very bad news ... at least if you're fans of Mark and Lexie Grey (Chyler Leigh), who have been getting more and more serious of late.
When Grey’s and Private Practice return from their holiday breaks with back-to-back episodes, Mark and Addison will be “Knocking boots ’til the cows come home.”
And there's more. He also adds that as far as Lexie goes, "let’s just say Mark may not be the only one doing a little two-timing." Theories and comments welcome!
Remember this, Grey's Anatomy fans? Better get ready for another dose! »

Two hours of Private Practice aired last Thursday (check out our review and Round Table discussion of the double episode drama), and left us anxious to see what's up next.
TV Guide recently chatted with Taye Diggs, who spilled that Addison (Kate Walsh) and Sam are not over, and teased the possibility of more Grey's Anatomy crossovers.
Some excerpts of the magazine's interview with Diggs appear below:
Q: What's going on really with Sam and Naomi?
Taye Diggs: I think the writers have done a really great job of portraying an accurate view of a relationship. These guys have been together for a really long time. They don't know what their relationship is truly outside the one they've had forever. I don't think it would be crazy if they got back together. It's fun to explore Sam single, though.
Q: Who would you rather see Sam be together with: Naomi or Addison? »

Last night's two-hour Private Practice event featured a number of dramatic developments involving the characters we love, as we described in our lengthy review earlier.
Now it's time to explore "The Parent Trap" and "Blowups" even further.
Below, our staff breaks down some of the burning questions from last night's episode our Private Practice Round Table discussion. Here's how our panel saw it ...
1. Wow, two hours! What was your favorite scene from last night?
The Barnacle: It's hard to call it a "favorite," since it was painful to watch, but if we're going with the most powerful, Dell telling Heather how he really felt when he learned how the house blew up. You could see his anger and guilt building up as he just exploded.
Dr. Shepherd: Definitely Pete telling Heather "I forgive you" and "our baby will be fine," when she thought he was Dell. So compassionate, plus the »

Jeremy Piven was the best thing since sliced bread about 4 or 5 years ago after the birth of Entourage, but with the reported decline in that show’s quality (this is hearsay — I’ve never seen an episode of it) and less exposure for the actor beyond a great role in Smokin’ Aces, I keep seeing more and more backlash against the guy.
I don’t really understand why this is — he’s charismatic as all get-out, just sullied by roles in The Goods and surely the upcoming adaptation of Marmaduke. One thing that could very well help is a lower budget, character-driven picture, which is precisely what he’s signing up for with Waska.
Directed by Gaby Dellal (On a Clear Day), Waska is an indie drama in the works that will focus on “a young father who loses his son, throwing the community into disarray at the time of »
