I see an Eric McCormack-Blair Underwood slugfest in The New Adventures of Old Christine's future. Sources confirm to me exclusively that Underwood has signed on to reprise his role as Christine's former flame, Daniel (or as he's referred to by his students, Mr. Harris) for one episode. My educated guess? Underwood is being brought in to cause some trouble between Christine and her current beau, Max (played by McCormack). But I could be wrong. Doubtful though. I'm feeling pretty good about this one. Underwood's comeback is slated to air in December or January. Photo Credit: Louis-Dreyfus: Joseph Viles »

In Treatment, HBO's innovative shrink drama, has been renewed for a third season, the network announced.
The five-times-a-week series revolves around the patient sessions of Dr. Paul Weston (Gabriel Byrne), a psychologist who lives in Brooklyn.
In Treatment was one of TVGuide.com's biggest Emmy surprises
Dianne Wiest appeared in both Seasons 1 and 2 as Paul's therapist, Gina, and a rotating cast of actors (Blair Underwood, Embeth Davidtz, Josh Charles, Hope Davis and John Mahoney, to name several) have played his patients.
The casting of Paul's third-season patients has not been announced.
Production is scheduled to begin in New York in early 2010, with the season to air later in that year.

Thirty Republican senators voted down an amendment by Al Franken to take away government funds from defense contractors who prevent their employees from pursuing legal action for workplace assault or sexual discrimination, but luckily it passed anyway.
Meanwhile, David Letterman admitted to affairs with his employees, and his ratings are higher than ever.

The weekend’s big release is Couples Retreat, and while the resort-set movie always looks postcard-pretty — which is never a given, since lush Greek locales couldn’t save Mamma Mia! or My Life in Ruins from looking washed-out and awful — the script is rather problematic.

While it can be annoying to watch a show like Dirty Sexy Money that’s entirely about money and elitism while sitting in a small apartment and eating instant Mac & Cheese with a plastic fork you’ve been reusing since your Chinese food take-out from last week, it’s entertaining enough that you don’t feel too bad about yourself. This show teaches us that the rich are bigger screw-ups than we are, even though we haven’t bought reusable utensils.
Dirty Sexy Money is just that, sexy. The show is hot hot hot and most of that is due to its incredible cast. Peter Krause is a lucky man because he gets to play very interesting characters, but the men he plays aren’t as lucky as he. I won’t dwell on this too much (let’s face it, I tend to dwell on things), but isn’t »

Chicago – Buena Vista Home Video is releasing three sets next week that would be a trio of final season sets if not for the last-minute and surprising renewal of “Scrubs,” despite a beautiful series finale. That finale is included on “Scrubs: The Complete Eighth Season,” which joins “Dirty Sexy Money: The Complete And Final Second Season” and “Samantha Who?: The Complete Second And Final Season” on store shelves this week. (Don’t argue with us about the placement of the words “And Final” on the “Dsm” case. That’s where it’s placed on the package.)
DVD Rating: 3.5/5.0 This week’s TV on DVD includes one show that never quite found an audience, another that had one and lost it, and a third that has been on for most of the decade, crossed over from one network to another, and survived several cancellation axe swings. At least »

“We never thought we’d find a place where we belong. ” The opening words of the Nambla credo? No, the line sung by Holly Robinson Peete during the opening of the 21 Jump Street theme song. The one hour drama about four young cops and their radical Captain, set in an American metropolitan city, was ostensibly the launch pad for Johnny Depp’s acting career.
In 21 Jump Street, cops who looked too youthful to be taken seriously are sent to the undercover unit located in an abandoned chapel on Jump Street. There, Captain Richard Jenko (Frederic Forrest — who was replaced in later episodes by Steven Williams as Captain Fuller) preaches peace, love and Miranda warnings. With capers usually taking place in area schools, the Jump Streeters bust kids for all sorts of creative diversions like “smash and grab” robberies, stolen cars and, of course, drugs.

As ABC series Dirty Sexy Money returns to burn off its final four episodes Saturday nights at 10pm before it finally bids goodbye, "The Facts" seems to be a good episode to do so. On it, the Darlings are away for Thanksgiving, so Clark the chauffeur takes advantage and offers his version of events regarding the many Darling family rumors to a persistent, relentless, and sexy reporter. He sets the record straight as to all the family betrayal, possible criminal cover-ups, and even murder accusations.
His version of things include Patrick's (William Baldwin) subpoena to Tripp (Donald Sutherland) over his association with the lowlife Fantini brothers, Karen's (Natalie Zea) anger over the intrusion of Simon's (Blair Underwood) beautiful ex-wife, Ama (Gina Torres), and Juliet's (Samaire Armstrong) adventures with her lover, Kai. Meanwhile, Letitia (Jill Clayburgh) holds the Ferragamo fashion show at the Darling mansion while under house arrest, and one »

While African-American men only nabbed 4% of the slots on the Hot 100 list, they pretty much ruled the roost when it came to this category. Indeed, it was nearly a Top 10 sweep with only Wilson Cruz and Mario López sneaking in at the end. As for Asians, B.D. Wong landed at #14 and Daniel Dae Kim came in at #18 while Sendhil Ramamurthy pretty much carried the torch for Indian representation by placing #12. The next highest-ranking man of Indian descent was British native Dev Patel, who made quite an impact in Slumdog Millionaire (2008). Alas, the success of that movie only propelled Dev to #28.
After Cruz and López, the next highest ranking men of Hispanic descent were Gael García Bernal and Guillermo Díaz at #s 20 and 21, respectively. Pop singer Ricky Martin clocked in at #26 followed by soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo at #40.
With any luck, the election of Barack Obama will remind all of us »

DVD Rating: 3.5/5.0 Chicago – Like therapy itself, HBO’s “In Treatment” requires a commitment. The award-winning program aired from Monday to Friday on HBO for nearly nine weeks and took up forty-three episodes. If you’re starting from the beginning of “In Treatment,” you will need to clear approximately 1,290 minutes of your schedule. Don’t go in half-heartedly.
At its best, “In Treatment” has a fly-on-the-wall quality that will nearly make you squeamish. It’s like sitting in on someone else’s therapy session. Every episode features another real-time session with a different patient of Dr. Paul Weston (Gabriel Byrne), culminating in the last episode of the week comprising Paul’s own session with his therapist.
In Treatment was released on DVD on March 24th, 2009.

Zoe McLellan sure knows how to keep good company. During her run on ABC's Dirty Sexy Money — where she shared scenes with the likes of Peter Krause and Blair Underwood — the actress made time for Reunion, an indie also starring Brett Cullen (Damages), Jamey Sheridan (Law & Order: Criminal Intent) and Amy Pietz (Aliens in America). TVGuide.com spoke with McLellan about the ensemble piece (which revolves around the unpredictable reunion of the members of a Yale secret society), as well as when Dirty Sexy fans might expect to see Lisa, Nick and the gang again.
TVGuide.com: Reunion is such an ensemble piece. Was that a big draw for you?
Zoe McLellan: Absolutely. When my agent told me about the cast they had already set in place, I was pretty blown away. The table read was actually pretty incredible — we felt like we could put it up on stage that day! »

The women at the Independent Spirit Awards looked beautiful but kept things more casual with their shorter dresses for the afternoon event. Anne Hathaway shined in her off-white dress with feminine details as many other actresses showed off their flirty styles. Cameron Diaz rocked the stripes, as did Michelle Williams in her sleeveless dress with pockets. Mary-Kate stood out with her shoulder pads and long sleeves and the award-winning Penelope Cruz - who had a run in with ex Tom Cruise the night before - look perfect in a frilly hemmed brown dress. Meanwhile, the men ranged from jeans to suits, but still looked handsome as usual. James Franco didn't manage to shave for the event but wore his pinstripes proudly. Aaron Eckhart, Emile Hirsch and Blair Underwood sported the denim look while Mickey Rourke had fun running around the blue carpet chatting with everyone. Make sure to check out all of Buzz, »
