The news is out about a potential Happy Gilmore 2, and Adam Sandler mentioned several actors he wants to cameo in the anticipated sequel.
They are The Price Is Right host Drew Carey and longtime journalist and TV personality Dan Patrick.
In the 1996 classic comedy, Sandler played the title character, a hockey player turned golfer. Christopher McDonald played his rival, Shooter McGavin, and let it slip last month that a sequel was in development.
Additional Happy Gilmore cast included Julie Bowen, Carl Weathers, Kevin Nealon, and professional golfer Lee Trevino.
A memorable appearance and line involved the late Bob Barker, who hosted The Price Is Right for 35 years.
Following the big sequel news leaked last month via McDonald, Sandler appeared on The Dan Patrick Show to discuss the movie’s status.

Phil Mickelson made golf history on Sunday, winning the PGA Championship to not only earn his sixth major title but also become the oldest player ever to win a major tournament.
The 50-year-old veteran broke a record that has stood since 1968, when Julius Boros won the PGA Championship in 1968 at the age of 48. It is Mickelson’s second PGA Championship victory, following one in 2005. It also joins his Masters victories in 2004, 2006 and 2010, as well as a 2013 Open Championship title on his list of major victories.
Mickelson held off challenges from fellow major winners Brooks Koepka and Louis Oosthuizen, winning by two strokes with a score of six-under-par. As Mickelson approached the 18th green to cement his victory, fans at Kiawah Island swarmed the course behind him in a scene reminiscent of Tiger Woods’ historic victory at the Masters two years ago.
Mickelson is now tied for 12th on the all-time major championship list,...

Bill Murray still fondly remembers his days working as a “looper”: “You know, a caddie, a jock.” We’ll let this guy explain it to you.
In the new documentary “Loopers: The Caddie’s Long Walk,” Murray narrates the history of the caddie’s importance to the game of golf and even recounts some of his own memories.
“When I first started, I got three dollars a bag. Then they bumped it to four,” the former “Caddyshack” star says in the exclusive trailer obtained by TheWrap. “The money got out of control.”

Chicago – I rage quit “Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14’” multiple times. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed it, and I think the franchise has put out quality games in the past, but when it came to putting in this year’s edition, it wasn’t uncommon for me to miss my hit window, short my putt, stand up, turn my Xbox 360 off, and storm outside in search of an adorable kitten to boss around. I mean, golfing has always been a frustrating experience - but in real life if you get a cart, a nice day, five or six (or nine) brews in the back of that cart, and some good friends, you’ll very likely have yourself a quality afternoon where you don’t care about what your stroke count was and how many holes you 9-putted.

Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake traveled to Illinois for the Ryder Cup Captains & Celebrity Scramble at Medinah Country Club yesterday. Justin, who is a Ryder Cup Us ambassador, was teamed with Bill Murray and golfers Lee Trevino and Dave Stockton to play against other groups that included Olympian Michael Phelps, George Lopez, and Scottie Pippen. Jessica watched the action from the crowd, though Justin's team lost to the foursome that included Michael, George, and retired professional golfers Hal Sutton and Lanny Wadkins. Justin and Jessica were back together after Justin celebrated his bachelor party over the weekend. He and 25 friends kicked the bash off in Las Vegas last week and then continued on to Mexico, where they stayed at the El Dorado Golf & Beach Club. Recent rumors suggest that Jessica and Justin plan to tie the knot at Francis Ford Coppola's Palazzo Margherita in Italy, but we'll have to...
