Are the Jonas Brothers planning to split? That's apparently the talk of the town at the moment. While we've heard on numerous occasions that the trio was calling it quits, new information has surfaced claiming the brothers may be breaking up for good.
Nick Jonas has already began pursuing his own solo career and he's fronting a new band called Nick Jonas and the Administration (way to give your bandmates credit Nick). A source close to the family told Pop Eater, "Nick sees himself as the next Justin Timberlake and brother Joe knows it," a friend tells me. Nick already has a solo album out February 2 and a 14-city tour."
Kevin's married life doesn't seem to be helping matters either. His heart belongs to his wife Danielle and there just doesn't seem to be enough left to share with the band. So what do you guys think of the Jonas Brothers calling it quits? »

Rumors suggesting that Jonas Brothers possibly head to splitsville has been shot down. On Wednesday, December 30, Nick Jonas made use of his Twitter account to express his excitement of working with his brothers, Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas in 2010. "I can't tell you how excited I am for all the things my brothers and I have coming in 2010. Along with my side project!" the 17-year-old tweeted.
Pop Eater was the first which came out with a scoop that the famous musical trio had already thought about going separate ways. The site described Nick's side project, Nick Jonas and The Administration, as one of the reasons for the break-up. "Nick sees himself as the next Justin Timberlake and brother Joe knows it," a family insider said. "Nick already has a solo album out February 2 and a 14-city tour."
Beside Nick's new side project, Kevin's recent marriage to Danielle Deleasa was also blamed for the possible split. »

People working in the TV world celebrated the arrival of the third quarter of 2009 when the biggest television event, the Emmys, was held in September. Preceded by Creative Emmy Awards, the event was, for some, the eventual payday of their hard work throughout the last year. Also coming into the spotlight is a major change in a very popular show that sent a shock to its fans in the month of August.
July
Deemed as one of the most dramatic endings of "The Bachelorette" season, the Jillian Harris edition resulted in a proposition on July 27. Jillian picked Ed Swiderski out of Kiptyn Locke although Ed was the guy who left the competition in the fifth week to pursue his career. Ed in return, presented her with and ring and said, "I want to be with you forever. I want a family with you." The couple moved in together around two months after the finale. »

A regular conversation that occurs between me and my blog buddies is how Martin Campbell, the director of The Green Lantern, plans to tackle the production of one of the most unique comic book adaptations ever. For those who are unaware the look and style of Gl is that of Iron Man meets Star Trek in terms of tone and action (it spends time between space and Earth) but there is the fantasy elements that put it as sort of a Lord of the Rings in space thus giving it that uniqueness that most other comic book adaptation don’t have.
Even though Martin Campbell is the director he has to rely on very talented members of the production to create and design these worlds. Well now Superhero Hype is reporting that many of the key crew members that are already on board, and there’s no lack of Oscars among them. »

News on a new Flash Gordon movie has been scarce and we’ve not heard of any official developments since nearly a year and a half ago when Neil Moritz acquired the rights to the film and Breck Eisner was picked to direct. That changes this week as rumors surface of who is being looked at to play the lead role. Hollyscoop is reporting that an insider of theirs informed them that Sam Worthington and Ryan Reynolds are up for the role of Flash against two others.
For those unfamiliar with the classic sci-fi tale, the story of Flash Gordon takes place when our planet is hit with a meteor strike. We find out through the story that these meteors are weapons from the planet Mongo sent by Ming the Merciless, their evil ruler. Flash Gordon and friends make their way to the planet and adventure ensues.

While Snook's looks and DJ Pauly D's "blowout" may work at the "Jersey Shore," they don't quite cut it on A-list red carpets. Go figure.
"I like to walk into the room," Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi tells Life & Style magazine. "And have everyone notice what I'm wearing." No kidding, Snook.
So, when Life & Style invited the self-professed guidos and guidettes to a star-studded event at Greenhouse, an exclusive NYC nightclub with an upscale dress policy, they prepared themselves for a project.
"My personal style is fresh to death," says Paul "DJ Pauly D" Delvecchio. "Have you ever been to the supermarket? You know the produce section, like where the food is fresh? That's my style."
Um, so yeah, a project. The magazine decided to make over the cast in the image of some of today's most popular stars.
Is it possible these new looks will impress the Italian-American groups who are calling for the show's cancellation? »

Hit Us television drama Glee, which boasts two big-selling albums and huge ratings, is on its way to UK screens
It has stormed the Us television ratings, been hailed as the best new show of the year and spawned two hit albums. Now the musical comedy Glee – an upbeat but spiky drama about a school's struggling singing club – arrives next month to liven up UK screens in a whirl of jazz hands and power ballads.
Watched by more than 8 million fans – who call themselves "gleeks" – during its first-season run in the Us this autumn, the show follows the attempts of an idealistic Ohio teacher to mould a bunch of high-school misfits into an award-winning "show choir".
Its feelgood mix of optimism, powerhouse vocals and dark humour immediately won over the critics when it debuted in May. Entertainment Weekly described it as "so good – so funny, so bulging with vibrant characters »

The great thing about Christmas is that everybody has their own set of traditions. For some, the holiday is specifically reserved for family and friends. For basketball superstar Kobe Bryant, Christmas is about taking on the NBA's top competition on a high-profile stage. His Los Angeles Lakers are a staple of the Christmas Day television lineup, and this year was no different, as the Lakers welcomed LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers into the Staples Center for a highlight-filled showdown. Though Bryant nearly put up a triple-double (35 points, nine rebounds and eight assists), the Lakers fell to the Cavs 102-87. It wouldn't be a Lakers game without celebrities, »
