According to The Hollywood Reporter, the CG-animated series is about “a fearless, comic book-loving 10-year-old named Fanboy (David Hornsby) and his best friend and trusty sidekick, Chum Chum (Nika Futterman), whose wide-eyed acceptance of the bizarre is the perfect complement to his friend's hyper imagination.” Additional voice actors for the series will include Jamie Kennedy, Josh Duhamel and Estelle Harris.

Quickly responding to the plane crash that was experienced by Travis Barker and DJ AM on Friday night, September 19, a number of Hollywood celebrities have sent their well wishes to both men who currently are being treated at Doctors' Hospital in Augusta for second- and third-degree burns. Among those who react on the incident are Jamie Kennedy, David Spade, Kathy Griffin, Lauren Conrad, Lindsay Lohan, and Samantha Ronson.
Jamie, David, Kathy and Lauren were all enjoying the Entertainment Weekly's pre-Emmy party at the historic Beverly Hills Post Office on Saturday night, September 20 when they were asked about the tragic plane crash. Working together with Travis on his comedic reality show "Blowin' Up," Jamie told E! "I just hope to God-and I pray-that they're okay and they get through it ... My heart goes out to the four victims' family for sure, and I do hope that DJ and Travis do pull through.

Within all the symposiums, panels and debates trying to decipher what arts criticism is and will ultimately become in the Internet age, those artists and entertainers who are skewered by critics' ink are rarely discussed. Comedian-actor Jamie Kennedy ("Scream") has experienced the vitriol of opinionated haters for decidedly non-masterpieces like "Son of the Mask" and "Malibu's Most Wanted," but it has to be worse when it happens in the middle of a stand-up performance. Produced by Kennedy and directed by Michael Addis, "Heckler" is a deeply personal and often funny doc about the relationship between performers and their critics, right down to heated confrontations between Kennedy and his online eviscerators. The film features a surprising gamut of talking heads: comedians like Patton Oswalt and Kathy Griffin make sense, as do directors like George Lucas and Uwe Boll, but who would've suspected to hear from Christopher Hitchens, Larry Flynt

A few years back, Jamie Kennedy and a few pals decided to make a documentary about the ways in which comedians deal with rude hecklers. But somewhere about halfway through the movie, the guys decided that hecklers weren't all that interesting, and so they chose to set their sights on ... film critics. Debuting on DVD this week, Heckler spends a lot of time arguing about how pointless film critics are ... but then why does the DVD come plastered with quotes like these?
"Hilarious!" -- Variety
"A Must-See!" -- The New York Sun
"Extremely Entertaining" -- Film Threat
...and my favorite: "Insightful" -- Cinematical.com
Now, I'm not trying to bash the film or Jamie Kennedy (and for those who really want my thoughts on the film -- a film in which yours truly is chastised for having the audacity to write a negative movie review -- you can check out

10 Comedy Clichés That Need to Die Everybody has their own sense of humour and I can appreciate that. However, there's no way more than twelve people across the planet think that Jamie Kennedy should keep making comedies. Or that Eddie Murphy should play two or more characters in his next film. Growing up watching those raunchy 80s comedies I would have never thought I could make it through a "funny" movie without laughing once. It happens a lot nowadays. Maybe I'm old and bitter....

While partying around at the San Diego Comic Con, we stumbled into Jamie Kennedy who talked with us a bit about the Scream 4 rumors. "Bob (Weinstein) wants us all to return in another film," Kennedy tells Bd. "I don't know how I'd return, but he wants me back," he jokes. He also reveals that a whole new batch of teens would be part of the film. This morning we caught up with Wes Craven who confirms the heavy talks, but denies being approached to return, while his assistant gave us a firm "no comment." More info soon as it comes in.

Jamie Kennedy has hinted that he may reprise his role as Randy in Scream 4. The Weinstein Company confirmed last week that it is making a fourth movie in the horror franchise. Kennedy told iFMagazine that movie buff Randy could return in the new film, despite having been killed off in the previous instalment. He said: "I actually had a conversation with somebody very big in the organisation, and there’s a way. "I don’t (more)

We're working on confirming this as we speak, but until then, iFMagazine caught up with Jamie Kennedy at the TCA's CBS afterparty to promote his new role on CBS's The Ghost Whisperer where he reported some very, very interesting news regarding Dimension Films' Scream 4, which has become the center of the horrorverse over the past week since its surprising announcement. Despite having having been killed off in the franchise, it seems as if Kennedy could still be involved once again as Randy. "I actually had a conversation with somebody very big in the organization, and theres a way," he tells iF. "I dont know whats going to happen, but they have plans for a lot of things. You can see new faces that you wouldnt expect and you can see old faces that you wouldnt believe. Theres a way to bring a lot of things around."

In Scream, Jamie Kennedy outlines the rules for surviving a horror film thusly: Don't have sex, don't get drunk or do drugs, and never say "I'll be right back." But in the twelve years since Scream was released, there have been some a number of additions to these basic horror movie survival rules. Final Destination and it's many, many sequels taught us to never take a shower, or go for a drive when you're in the process of cheating death, because death will find you and kill you in the most cartoonish way possible. The Hostel series gave us the rules: Don't stay in hostels, and also, Don't travel. And Cabin Fever, of course, reminded us to never, ever stay in a remote cabin with Rider Strong. After watching the trailer for the upcoming UK film Donkey Punch, however, it's apparent that Scream's original rules for surviving a...

Do you remember Reaper? It's the Cw series about a 21-year old named Sam, whose parents sold his soul to the devil, and who now has to catch escaped souls from hell for Satan. And, it's a comedy. Reaper was one of The Cw's highly-touted freshman shows coming into the 2007-2008 TV season, though it failed to set the world on fire early in the year. Although reviews were largely positive, the ratings were mediocre in its initial pre-strike run. The Cw has not yet made an announcement regarding Reaper's future past this season, and will likely make a decision based upon its performance the rest of the season, starting tonight. The first new episode of Reaper since the strike began airs on The Cw at 9pm tonight.
This is a new time slot for Reaper, which previously aired on Tuesdays. The move is a little confusing for me,
