Upon our arrival here at Comic-Con, we weren't quite sure what to expect from the newly founded Summit Pictures. What I saw during their presentation earlier today, however, made me feel like they have been around for quite a while. Much to Alex's dismay, most of the fans were there for Summit's winter film Twilight. The good stuff was all before Twilight as we found out - Push delivered! Push is directed by Paul McGuigan (of Lucky # Slevin previously, a personal favorite of mine) and stars Chris Evans (Fantastic Four, Sunshine), Dakota Fanning (Man on Fire, War of the Worlds), Djimon Hounsou (Blood Diamond) and Camilla Belle (10,000 B.C.); all but Fanning were at the panel today. This was the second big panel in the line-up this year at Comic-Con and it surely didn't disappoint with some great footage! From what we saw (they had a three ...

Howard's Conan the Barbarian universe. Actor Djimon Hounsou will produce and star in the feature film that is being adapted from the upcoming comic book series based on the character. Read on for more details! The character of Thulsa Doom first appeared in the 1930s in Robert E. Howard's pulp stories. A powerful necromancer, Thulsa Doom is Kull the Conqueror's primary foe. Doom was portrayed by James Earl Jones in 1982's Conan the Barbarian. Planned pic will showcase the origins of the flawed hero and show how his road to hell was paved with good intentions. [Variety] Producers team for Papillon Redo: New Spanish production shingle Atlantia Canarias is teaming with L.A. producers Branko Lustig and John Kelly for a remake of the Steve McQueen and Dustin Hoffman starrer Papillon. Currently in the earliest stage of development, with no screenwriter or director attached, Papillon will shoot in English on a budget of about $90 million, Lustig said. As someone that thinks Papillon is the best McQueen movie (yup, better than Bullitt, Magnificent Seven, etc.) I think this is a Horrible idea.

Kimora Lee Simmons and Djimon Honsou are "kind of" engaged, she says. When photographers asked the designer, 33, and the actor-model, 44, to kiss on the red carpet at the Bel Air home of Maria and William Bell for Wednesday's third annual Loveday celebration hosted by Cartier, Simmons opted for a snuggle instead. "That was more like a nuzzle!" she said. So, are the two – who first met in February 2007 – engaged? "Kind of," Simmons replied. Asked if Honsou had given her an engagement ring, Simmons was equally forthcoming – and evasive. "Well, kind of," she said, "not quite." Model and fashion designer Kimora Lee Simmons has laughed off reports she is a diva, insisting her reality TV show "glamourises" everything that occurs in her life.
The Baby Phat creator stars in Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane, which documents her life balancing motherhood with her career as a fashion mogul and business entrepreneur.
And she claims the way she is portrayed and the extravagant demands she makes on the show are all just for the camera - because she's really a down-to-earth mother of two.
She says, "I hear the craziest things, like, 'She has to have a champagne glass filled within a quarter inch of the lip'.
"The reality, is I'm a dedicated mother and a very kind, funny and hardworking person. My reality TV show helps to shed a bit of light, but even that's glamourised."
Simmons, who is currently dating actor Djimon Hounsou, has two daughters, Ming Lee, eight, and Aoki Lee, five, from her marriage to hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons.
