When I saw the announcement that she would be replaced, I initially suspected that they were dumping her because of the bad press Tom Cruise would bring.

Then I saw the movie and knew that Katie Holmes could not have acted the part as written. She is a good acrtress, but a lightweight. They told her to get lost and promised to say in public that it was her decision and they offered her all kinds of money, and SHE was the one who turned it down, etc. All lies.

The truth. She was a good enough actor to be in a movie this good. Thank god Nolan could see it.
