“I can’t confirm anything, but with my whole heart, I would love to be back,” Jenna excitedly told Us Weekly. “The show has been a dream come true for myself [and] my family. It’s really what I love to do.”
Without a doubt, the Dancing With The Stars dancers are close. But for Jenna, it really is a family affair. Her husband and reigning champion Val Chmerkovskiy is a core part of the show.

ABC isn't making the same mistake twice, at least for now. The network is keeping Dancing with the Stars on the air and has renewed the show for a 33rd season. The 32nd season finished airing in December.
A competition series, the Dancing with the Stars TV show is hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, with Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough serving as judges. On the show, celebrities are paired with professional dancers and each couple performs predetermined dances. They compete against the participants for judges' points and audience votes. The couple that receives the lowest combined score is eliminated each week. By the end, one couple will win the coveted trophy. Celebrities competing in cycle 32 are Tyson Beckford, Xochitl Gomez, Alyson Hannigan, Harry Jowsey, Charity Lawson, Ariana Madix, Jason Mraz, Adrian Peterson,...

“Dancing with the Stars” underwent a couple of big changes going into its 32nd season in 2023. After streaming exclusively on Disney+, the show returned to its original home on ABC (though still simulcast on the streaming service). This was also the first season of the show since the death of beloved head judge Len Goodman, though the show’s grand prize was renamed in his honor: it’s now the Len Goodman Mirror Ball Trophy. So who was sent home from the competition when and for which dances? Below, see the complete results of “DWTS” season 32, updated every week as additional couples are sent home.

Going into tonight’s “Music Video Night” on “Dancing with the Stars,” three celebrities appear to be at the greatest risk of elimination: “Too Hot to Handle” star Harry Jowsey, “Buffy” and “How I Met Your Mother” alum Alyson Hannigan and “Brady Bunch” veteran actor Barry Williams. That’s according to the combined predictions of “DWTS” fans who have placed their bets here in our predictions center since last week. Make or update your own forecasts before tonight’s show.
Jowsey has had a rough road on “DWTS,” at least when it comes to his judges’ scores. Out of six previous weeks of competition, he has been at the bottom of the leaderboard three times, including for the last two weeks in a row. On “Monster Night” he was dejected by the fact that a number of online fans were criticizing him too. But he has been safe every single week regardless,...

[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for Dancing With the Stars.] The magical world of Disney was celebrated on Dancing with the Stars. Season 32’s iconic theme night had a little extra pixie dust sprinkled in as the Walt Disney Company marks 100 years. With Tyson Beckford and Jenna Johnson sent home last week, the remaining 11 couples learned routines choreographed to the music of beloved animated films. Shoutout to the incredible wardrobe team, who kill it especially during “Disney Night.” To get things started, the pros took to the ballroom for a dance to “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” from Encanto, put together by Christopher Scott. Of course, we do talk about Bruno Tonioli, who readied his paddle along with fellow judges Derek Hough and Carrie Ann Inaba. Their scores combined with viewer voting ended the fairy tale for another twosome. Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro broke the sad news Adrian Peterson and Britt Stewart would be going home.

“Too Hot to Handle” star Harry Jowsey had a bit of a scare on “Dancing with the Stars” last week on “Motown Night.” Despite showing signs of improvement and slightly inching his way up the leaderboard, he was announced to be in jeopardy at the end of the night along with model Tyson Beckford and actress Alyson Hannigan. Luckily for him, Beckford was eliminated instead. But might Jowsey be on the chopping block again tonight on “Disney100 Night“? And was he really even in the bottom three to begin with?

Supermodel Tyson Beckford showed new sides to himself this season on Dancing With the Stars. Alas, his quest to win the newly named Len Goodman Mirror Ball trophy came to an end last night after he and pro dancer Jenna Johnson were voted off the show. The couple had scored a mere 20 points (out of a possible 40) for their Foxtrot to “Master Blaster (Jammin’)” by Stevie Wonder on Motown Night. Before exiting the ballroom, the couple chatted with TV Insider after the live taping ended. Beckford was sorry to his journey come to an end, but he is happy that he accomplished certain goals. “I feel like America is so used to seeing me in music videos and in a couple of movies and TV shows, but they didn’t really get to see my personality till now,” Beckford says. “Every day on a show like this is grueling. [Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for Dancing With the Stars.] Dancing with the Stars paid homage to some of the most iconic songs ever on “Motown Night” in week 3. Setting the mood was a pro opening number choreographed by Jamal Sims to “Dancing in the Street” by Martha and the Vandellas. Then the dozen couples grooved to more Motown magic. These dynamic duos had to not only impress Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough but guest judge Michael Strahan as well. The Good Morning America host joined the panel to give his own hot takes. The judges’ scores combined with viewer voting to send home sent home another celeb. And given the unexpected early exit of Jamie Lynn Spears and partner Alan Bersten last week, it could truly be anyone. In the end, Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro announced Tyson Beckford and Jenna Johnson were being sent home. Do you agree with the results?...

Good news from the ratings people: ABC says the season 32 premiere of Dancing With The Stars held even with the series’ prior season on the network in fall 2021, when it averaged 6.50 million viewers. That means the people who used to love their favorite fringe show before it moved to Disney+ for Season 31 came back to re-enjoy their favorite fringe show!
This isn’t the worst news. Though DWTS remains a loss leader, it’s a loss leader we all need — more than we truly can appreciate these days. What was it that they sang at the beginning of tonight’s episode? It’s just an invitation across the nation, a chance for folks to meet. There’ll be laughing, singing and music swinging, dancing in the street!
Time to kick off Motown Night with guest host Michael Strahan, who’s really not that bad with the superlatives when it comes to judging the celebrity hoofers.

Singer Jason Mraz who was tied at the top of the leaderboard last week, earned the first “9”s of the season on Tuesday night’s “Dancing With the Stars.” Later in the show, “Vanderpump Rules” star Ariana Madix, who danced in flats due to a possible unrevealed injury, was shocked to also be given two “9”s and two “8” scores.
Mraz and partner Daniella Karagach shook it up for Motown Night with a spirited Jive to “Do You Love Me” by The Contours. Carrie Ann Inaba called it “brilliant,” while Derek Hough raved that Mraz made the dance look “effortless.” Tonioli gushed that it was “like watching a scene from a movie.”

It’s Motown Night on “Dancing with the Stars” this week and nothing says “Motown” more than… Michael Strahan. The “Good Morning America” co-anchor will guest-judge the remaining 12 couples’ routines to soul hits.
Prepare yourself for a whole lotta foxtrots. Half of the dances are foxtrots and the other six are two quicksteps, one cha-cha, one tango, one rumba and one jive. Jason Mraz and Daniella Karagach have the jive, marking the second consecutive week they are the only couple assigned a particular dance style (last week was rumba). “Dancing With the Stars” kicked off Latin night on Tuesday in week 2 of the season 32 competition, and the 13 stars still standing — along with their pro partners — brought their very best to the ballroom.
The second week of competition proved to be a particular challenge for the couples, with a focus on Latin routines that required a bit more style, speed and physicality. As always, some celebs shined bright as standout talents, while others stumbled hard.
After two hours of passionate and greatly improved dances, it was up to America to vote on who deserved to perform once more next week, and whose time was already up.
In the end — through a combination of judges scores and audience votes — two couples were determined to be in jeopardy: Jamie Lynn Spears and Alan Bersten, as well as Adrian Peterson and Britt Stewart.

Latin Night saw a lot of missteps on “Dancing With the Stars,” but also some very sexy Sambas, Salsas and Rumbas. Actress Xochitl Gomez and singer Jason Mraz tied at the top of the leaderboard with 24 points each.

Just when you thought the pandemic had stopped kicking at the shins of Dancing with the Stars, then comes news that — argh! — it’s not over yet. Poor Artem Chigvintsev has Covid! Now his Bachelorette partner Charity Lawson has to dance with Ezra Sosa, a lucky member of the background troupe who now gets his 15 minutes under the mirror ball. It shouldn’t hurt Lawson’s standing; she was the only quasi-ringer to emerge from the premiere night performances.
Notice how I said quasi. That’s right, DWTS watchers: unlike previous seasons, this batch of hoofers didn’t come armed with a decade of dance lessons or a previous life as a TikTok dance star. This season is chock full of straight-up amateurs, people! Finally, some perfectly passable dancing that makes us all warm and fuzzy about the golden days of DWTS.
Enough with the reminiscing. Bring on Latin night!

Who really gave the best performance on “Dancing with the Stars” during “Premiere Night“? We asked fans to respond in our poll at the end of the show, and they were divided pretty evenly three ways. Overall, they agreed with judges Derek Hough, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba about the top three performances, but disagreed about the order. Scroll down to see our complete poll results.
The best performance of the night according to the judges with a total score of 22 out of 30 was “The Bachelorette” star Charity Lawson, who danced a tango. She got sevens from Hough and Inaba and an eight from Tonioli — the only eight any contestant received that night. Tied for second place with sevens across the board from the judges for a total of 21 out of 30 were “Vaanderpump Rules” reality star Ariana Madix dancing another tango and Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Jason Mraz with a cha cha.

After various bumps in the road, Dancing With the Stars Season 32 finally hit the air on Tuesday night.
What was once a perfectly satisfactory competition series has desperately struggled to recapture its former glory.
The biggest flaw in Dancing With the Stars Season 32 Episode 1 out of the gate is ABC's decision to eliminate a competitor during the season premiere.
We get it: You want the series to have stakes and highlight that anyone could be eliminated anytime.
But as a viewer, watching the arcs of the competitors is one of the best parts of the show.
Knowing what they've gone through and how they approach criticism delivers compelling stories that allow us to root for the people we like.
Unfortunately, by the end of the premiere, Matt Walsh's time on the reality TV hit was already over.

Did “Veep” actor and comedian Matt Walsh really deserve to be the first contestant eliminated from “Dancing with the Stars” in season 32? Watch his “Premiere Night” cha cha above. And here’s what the judges had to say about it.
Carrie Ann Inaba: “That dance was different. You are adorable. What I like is ‘Dancing with the Stars’ is about playing to your strengths, and you definitely played to your strengths. It reminded me of old-school ‘Dancing with the Stars’ where we had people who came out here who weren’t the best dancers but they gave us a good time, and that’s half the fun. There’s a lot of work, a lot of work.”
Derek Hough: “I think the face-ography was unbelievable, and I was mesmerized, I truly was. I almost forgot to watch the dancing, so great strategy.”

Dancing With the Stars season 32 kicked off spectacularly with a new cast of celebrities (and one new pro) who put their best foot forward in the ballroom. However, at the end of the episode, one celebrity was sent home after just one dance. Fans called foul on Matt Walsh’s elimination, looking for “justice” and calling it “unfair.”
‘DWTS’ fans fired up after Matt Walsh and pro-Koko Iwasaki were sent home during episode 1
The premiere episode of DWTS season 32 displayed a range of talent from the newly-minted celebrity competitors. With only three weeks to learn the basics of ballroom dance and its techniques, it was a race to the finish to master their routines before the first live show of the season.
However, of all the celebrities who signed up for the series, only one took a step back to stand in solidarity with the then-ongoing WGA (Writers Guild of America) strike,...

“Dancing With the Stars” returned to ABC on Tuesday for the Season 32 premiere, and 14 new stars teamed up with beloved pro partners to bring their best to the ballroom.
The first week of competition can always be a challenge for the couples to find their footing — but, as usual, some celebs shined bright as standout talents, while others stumbled hard.
After two hours of debut dances, it was up to America to vote on who deserved to perform once more next week, and whose time was already up.

For a minute, it didn’t look as if the mirror ball would return home on time. The ongoing strike and the preponderance of picketers had the network flirting with the possibility of postponing tonight’s season 32 premiere of Dancing with the Stars. But a deal was finally hammered out on Sunday and earlier this evening, the WGA declared the strike would officially end at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday. What better way to celebrate than watching a bunch of celebs break out in dance?
But before the competition can begin, the cast paid tribute to the late Len Goodman — who now has a Mirror Ball trophy named after him! Goodman, DWTS‘ former head judge, died in April at 78.
Take it away, Alfonso Ribeiro!

“Dancing With the Stars” Season 32 kicked off right on schedule on Tuesday night, with all 15 couples, even temporary holdout actor Matt Walsh, hitting the dance floor for the first time.
“Bachelorette” star Charity Lawson and partner Artem Chigvintsev earned the highest score of the evening for their Tango, which judge Bruno Tonioli proclaimed to be “exquisite,” while Carrie Ann Inaba said it was “stunning,” especially for Week 1.
Charity took the lead from singer Jason Mraz, whose Cha-Cha-Cha with Daniella Karagacha to his own song, “I Feel Like Dancing,” prompted Bruno to dub him “the one to watch.” Jason, who claimed his higher-than-average dancing skills were due to an “extra vertebra,” earned a “7” from each judge.
After the audience votes were added, “Rhobh” star Mauricio Umansky and “Veep” star Matt Walsh were in the bottom two. Matt’s “non-traditional” Cha-Cha-Cha with partner Koko Iwasaki received a “4,” from each judge, a decision the audience booed.

“Dancing with the Stars” is back on ABC and some things just stay the same: if a celebrity has a song or is associated with a song, they will likely perform to it for their first dance.
ABC has unveiled the 14 dance styles and songs for Tuesday’s Season 32 premiere, and would you be shocked to learn that Jason Mraz is dancing the cha-cha to one of his own songs? And that the song is “I Feel Like Dancing”? Similarly, Barry Williams will perform a foxtrot to “It’s a Sunshine Day” by The Brady Bunch. Gotta get these outta the way. Mraz is one of six stars who will make their “Dancing” debut with the cha-cha. Williams, however, is the only one doing the foxtrot. Four couples have the tango, Two have the salsa and one has the jive.

There is much that is lovely to gaze upon in the elegantly tailored documentary “Invisible Beauty,” about fashion maverick Bethann Hardison, whose role in her industry, starting in the late ’60s and continuing into the present, has been remarkable personally and game-changing culturally.
Those five decades — hers and the industry’s — are expertly woven together by co-directors Hardison and Frédéric Tcheng, using a cache of personal photos, a wealth of archival images, clips and interviews sewn together by Hardison’s sharing of recollections and insights. The film is also buoyed by a delicate, sometimes moody piano-led score courtesy of Marc Anthony Thompson, with some additionally vivid musical choices that match the energy of the late, “Black is Beautiful” ’60s and the fashion-fast-forward ’70s.
