American editor, initially credited as Terrell Morse. He worked under contract at Warner Brothers (1928-31 and 1934-43) and 20th Century-Fox (1951-53).
Doubled up as a director--of second features, or "B" pictures--initially for Warner Brothers (1939-40), and subsequently for Poverty Row studios like PRC and Monogram.
His experience as an editor and director led him into becoming one of the industry's "film doctors" who would save troubled productions through editing and, when necessary, directing additional footage.
