Ethan Hawke and his new wife Ryan Shawhughes have snubbed the opportunity to sell the first photos of their newborn baby daughter, by posing in public with the one-week-old.

Shawhughes gave birth to Clementine Jane Hawke in a New York hospital last Friday.

And the couple stepped out in Manhattan with their new daughter on Friday, killing any chance of a potential exclusive family photo deal with a tabloid magazine.

Hawke and Shawhughes, who married in June, refused to chat with photographers as they carried tiny Clementine into a yellow cab.

Magazine bosses have bought the first snaps of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's twins Knox and Vivienne for a reported $11 million (GBP5.5 million), and an exclusive peek at Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves' baby son Levi was reportedly worth $3 million (GBP1.5 million).

That photo and others graced this week's Ok! magazine.

Two paparazzi photographers have been involved in a scuffle with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's bodyguards, after they were found hiding in the grounds of the stars' French home.

The two men, who were wearing camouflage gear in a bid to go unnoticed, were discovered by members of the Hollywood superstar couple's security team at their rented French chateau on Thursday.

As they were being escorted from the grounds, one of the snappers allegedly went "berserk" and lashed out.

It is claimed he even bit a bodyguard and yelled that he was infected with Hepatitis C.

Tony Webb, head of the team guarding the stars' estate, says, "We caught the two and tried to escort them off the property and the guy's just gone berserk, thrashing out, kicking and actually biting one of the security people, breaking his finger, drawing blood and screaming that he had Hepatitis C."

The men were thought to be trying to get exclusive snaps of the couple's newborn twins before they are unveiled for the first time in a U.S. publication - which has paid $11 million (GBP5.5 million) for the pictures.

Earlier this week (begs21Jul08) Pitt threatened legal action against any publication which prints photos of his family at the French house after an ad agency offered to sell snaps of the family playing in the grounds of their home.

Pitt's lawyer says, "The family are really fed up that these people are trespassing so we're going to try to get restraining orders and use the law to do whatever we have to to keep them off the property."

Angelina Jolie and partner Brad Pitt used fertility treatments to conceive their newborn twins, a new report has suggested.

The couple was desperate to quickly expand their brood - and turned to artificial insemination so they wouldn't have to "deal with the stress" of trying to get pregnant, reports U.S. magazine Us Weekly.

A source tells the publication, "They conceived through in vitro fertilisation. They both desperately wanted more babies soon."

Last year, the Tomb Raider star told U.K. magazine Elle: "If we're going to have 10 kids, we'd like to raise them while we're young."

Fraternal twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline - born this month in Nice, France - became the fifth and six children to join the Pitt-Jolie clan of Maddox, six, Pax, four, Zahara, three, and biological daughter Shiloh, two.

Angelina Jolie has reportedly been ordered to put on weight for a role in the forthcoming sequel to The Thomas Crown Affair.

The actress is set to star in the follow-up to the 1999 remake alongside Pierce Brosnan - but film bosses are said to have ordered her to pile on the pounds in preparation for the role.

Jolie sparked fears for her health last year when she became extremely thin - blaming the weight loss on the emotional distress she suffered following the death of her mother Marcheline Bertrand in January 2007.

But producers of the new Thomas Crown Affair movie are hoping Jolie - who gave birth to twins earlier this month - will be back to full health before filming starts.

A source tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror, "Ideally they want Angelina to put on two stone (12.7 kilograms) for the role. It is going to be very physically demanding, which is why they want her to carry the extra weight. They don't want a reprise of what happened with Wanted, where she was fainting and they had to take her costumes in."

I was excited to see the new poster for Jennifer's Body over at First Showing this afternoon. It's the new horror flick written by Diablo Cody and casts Megan Fox as some sort of naked high school sex cannibal. But then Filmonic noticed a striking similarity between the Jennifer's Body poster and a new poster for the HBO series True Blood, which was released last week. As you can see, we're going to have a new poster for Jennifer's Body pretty soon.

Lost in all of this, though is the attribution of a fairly iconic picture of Angelina Jolie, and since Megan Fox is basically Angelina 2.0, I thought I'd share this picture, which as you can see, is clearly the precursor to both posters.

The shame of it is, it's a cool concept no matter who uses it, but two posters in the same 14-day span is a little much.

Brad Pitt is threatening legal action against any publication which prints photos of his family at home in France.

The move comes after paparazzi photos of the movie star and his family relaxing at their summer retreat hit the internet earlier this week (beg21Jul08), and Pitt learned the bosses of the agency behind the shots were offering the images to tabloids.

Pitt's lawyer, Yael Holtkamp, has served the agency with a cease and desist order, and claims the photos were "surreptitiously" taken by photographers with "highly powerful telephoto lenses".

The shots feature Pitt with new mum Angelina Jolie, his parents and their children playing in the garden of their rented French chateau.

Pitt and Jolie chose to spend the summer at Chateau Miraval in Provence because of the privacy and exclusivity the wine resort offered.

Holtkamp insists the publication of the photos violates the family's privacy rights.

The paparazzi agency behind the photos has already agreed to stop selling them and the images have been removed from its website.

Billy Bob Thornton has vowed never to wed again, after five failed attempts at marriage.

The 52-year-old actor has been dating Connie Angland - the mother of his three-year-old daughter Bella - for four years.

But, after divorcing wife number five, Angelina Jolie, in 2003, Thornton has sworn off marriage for life.

He tells Maxim magazine, "I told Connie I didn't want to put her through that. We do fine.

Angelina Jolie and her ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton are searching for a comedy movie to star in together.

Nine years after they met on the set of 1999 movie Pushing Tin, and five years after their three-year marriage ended in divorce, the pair is planning to reunite on the big screen.

Thornton insists he and Jolie have remained friends since their split, and are both keen to work together again - as long as they are not playing husband and wife.

He tells Maxim magazine, "We've talked about it plenty of times. I'm sure we will."

And their preference is a comedy.

Latest: Angelina Jolie has left hospital in France - fooling the paparazzi to bring her newborn twins home without interruption.

Jolie gave birth to son Knox Leon and daughter Vivienne Marcheline by Caesarian section at the Fondation Lenval hospital in France on Saturday.

And after a brief stay, the Hollywood actress and her partner Brad Pitt left the medical centre early on Saturday morning - slipping out the back entrance to avoid the crowds of photographers awaiting the couple's departure.

A statement from hospital officials has thanked the pair for choosing to host the birth there.

It reads, "Mrs (sic) Angelina Jolie left the clinic Santa Maria of Fondation Lenval early in the morning, on July 19. The mother and her babies are doing very well.

"The general management of Lenval and Santa Maria want to thank the team for the attention and care they pay to the family, and those of the journalists around the hospital who did their best to respect their privacy."

The twins are the fifth and sixth additions to Jolie and Pitt's family - the couple has three adopted children, Maddox, six, Pax, four, three year old Zahara, and biological daughter Shiloh, two.
