The End of 2009? Whoop-doo! This year has been one hellatious shit storm from the get-go. Pregnant ladies and babies, The Great Depression Part II, pig flu, more than a handful of horrible shootings, a balloon boy, Tiger's indiscretions, and our first black president. Not to mention more dead celebrities than I can shake a stick at. Every time I turned around, some other atrocious calamity was happening right before my eyes. Making 2009 one of the most interesting years of this entire decade. According to Michael Ruppert in his film Collapse its only going to get worse before it gets better. Yes, the Teens are going to see more than half of your friends and family dead. Take account of the folks around you. By the time 2020 rears its ugly head, most of these people will be gone. Turned to dust and painful memories. My advice to you this coming New Year? »

American Sunset was completed in 2009 and now the film will have a kick-off party, this Monday, November 8th. Corey Haim and other filmmakers will be on hand at a "private after party," for those fortunate enough to see the screening of American Sunset, in Los Angeles. Other stars in the film are Frank Molina, Bernie Robichard, and Angela Cullins in a film about the games some people play. Is American Sunset the signal that Corey Haim will make a comeback to films? If by “awesome” you mean, “Whoa, is this some kind of parody of Hollywood movie trailers?” While watching the trailer for Corey Haim’s “American Sunset”, some kind of crime thriller about a kidnapped wife and a mysterious kidnapper, I kept having flashbacks to comedian Pablo Francisco, who features the “voice of the movie trailer guy” in his act. (Check out the comparisons below). Honestly, this trailer is cut almost exactly as if it was a parody, complete with ridiculous lines from Haim in-between the overly earnest movie trailer guy’s voiceover. “American Sunset” is a story about love and sacrifice. The actor says that Warner Brothers Premiere is planning on making one movie a year
Lost Boys 3: The Thirst was recently announced with Corey Feldman coming back as Edgar Frog. Directed by Dario Piana, The story follows veteran vampire hunter Edgar Frog, who finds himself destitute and almost friendless. Just when he thinks his life has hit rock bottom, wealthy vampire-romance novelist Gwen Liebling (in a direct riff on Twilight} offers him a small fortune to go on the vampire hunt of a lifetime and rescue her son Peter from the Alpha Vampire D.J. Dusk. With the help of his friends Zoe, Lars and Blake, Edgar heads into a bloody battle to exterminate evil. Feldman Turning To Haim For Support Through Divorce

Actor Corey Feldman has turned to his childhood pal and Lost Boys co-star Corey Haim for support as he struggles through his divorce from wife Susie Sprague.
Feldman admits he's "gutted" and "heartbroken" about his marriage breakdown, after he was slapped with divorce papers from the Playboy pin-up last week (ends30Oct09) - just days before their seventh wedding anniversary.
Sprague has also filed for sole custody of their son Zen, five.
Feldman briefly fell out with Haim over his old friend's drug problems, but the pair has since patched up its differences and have turned to one another for comfort.
In a post on his website, Feldman writes, "He (Haim) called to make a truce... I still love the guy."
The rekindled friendship is also helping Feldman through the pain of losing his one-time pal Michael Jackson in June.
A source tells the National Enquirer, "Feldman was hit with a double whammy - the divorce filing and the death of close friend Michael Jackson - and Haim has been there to give him a shoulder to cry on.
"They've been through hundreds of battles - including drug problems, divorce and personal and professional jealousy. But the Coreys are still there for each other."
The two stars appeared together in a reality TV show last year, which also featured Sprague. »

Apparently Corey's personal website is the place to secure tickets to this exclusive premiere event. If he never does anything else with the rest of his life at least Corey Feldman can say he was in four of the most beloved movies of the last thirty-years. Beginning with Gremlins in 1984 at the age of thirteen Feldman went on to star in classic films such as The Goonies and Stand By Me among other movies but it was his role as Edgar Frog in The Lost Boys that has kept in the hearts and minds of fans for decades. Former child star Corey Feldman's marriage appears to be over - his Playboy pin-up wife Susie has filed for divorce.
The reality TV star has cited irreconcilable differences and is seeking full custody of the couple's five-year-old son, as well as spousal support, according to TMZ.com.

Feldman, 38, and Susie Sprague were married in October 2002, nine months after meeting in a nightclub, on the set of VH1's The Surreal Life in a ceremony officiated by Mc Hammer and a rabbi. Many people may not even be aware that there was a Lost Boys sequel, but last year saw the release of Lost Boys: The Tribe. The title became a straight-to-dvd sensation, making back its $5 million dollar budget in just three weeks of DVD sales. The Tribe saw the return of Corey Feldman as Edgar Frog, a vampire hunter with an attitude, as well as Angus Sutherland filling in for his brother Kiefer. Corey Haim returned as well, but only for one scene at the end of the movie, while the other Frog brother, Jamison Newlander, only appeared in an alternate ending found on the DVD. Feldman told ShockTillYouDrop that the Frog Brothers will reunite for the third installment, titled Lost Boys: The Thirst.

Cashing in on all the Twilight hype is Warner Brothers' second sequel Lost Boys 3: The Thirst. According to Bloody Disgusting, Dario Piana, best known for his film The Deaths of Ian Stone, is gearing up to direct a third film in this popular vampire saga. The best news is that Corey Feldman and Jamison Newlander will be reprising their roles as Edgar and Alan Frog, world-class vampire hunters and surfboard shapers.

The Vault, a True Blood -inspired fansite just pointed out a new music video for "Cry Little Sister" by G Tom Mac. And if that title sounds familiar, that's because it is. It was originally recorded back in '87 and has become synonymous with Joel Schumacher's vampire hit The Lost Boys (starring Corey Haim & Corey Feldman). The difference is this is a brand new version of the song specifically re-recorded & revamped (pun intended) for True Blood .
