Rumer Willis has hit back at critics who have mocked her prominent chin, insisting the imperfection makes her a role model for insecure young women.
The 19-year-old daughter of actors Bruce Willis and Demi Moore has been mocked by internet gossips because of her facial features.
But she has learned to deal with the jibes, and hopes her positive self-esteem will inspire others to accept their own flaws.
She says, "Everybody has an opinion, and we live in America so you're allowed to.
"Hopefully, young girls will watch (me) and feel confident about themselves and go, 'Ok, that girl's not entirely the ideal of what a perfect picture is supposed to be and she feels confident and beautiful, then I can too.' If we can have the ability to do that, I'm very excited about that.
"As long as you are comfortable with who you really are and your friends, and the people that are around you know that, that's all that really matters."

Madonna's brother Christopher Ciccone is set to give an insight into the state of the singer's marriage to Guy Ritchie in his forthcoming tell-all book.
According to publishing sources, the pop superstar's estranged brother reveals the pair do love each other - but not as much as the Queen of Pop loves herself and her career.
However, Ciccone insists the couple, who have recently been dogged by split rumours, are "passionately committed" to staying together.
In the expose, Ciccone writes about how he hopes his sister's Kabbalah faith will help her overcome her own ego, adding: "I hope that it is Kabbalah's lesson that she is not the center of the universe."
The book, Life With My Sister Madonna, also allegedly lifts the lid on the Material Girl star's celebrity pals, with excerpts about the lifestyles of Bruce Willis, Demi Moore and Madonna's former lover Warren Beatty, according to online reports.
But some of Ciccone's alleged stories have already been thrown into doubt - his revelations of Madonna enjoying a same-sex smooch with best pal Gwyneth Paltrow at a New Year bash was dismissed by a fellow partygoer on Wednesday.
The book, which is slated for release next week is set to officially cut all ties Ciccone once had to his superstar sister.
Madonna's publicist Liz Rosenberg says, "I would have to assume she (Madonna) has come to terms with the fact that they do not have a close and loving relationship. And with the book coming out, I assume that will remove the chances of that ever happening."

The new Barry Levinson film What Just Happened? sports an interesting cast and a workable premise, but festival audiences haven't exactly warmed to it.
Robert De Niro plays a film producer whose career is on the ropes, with John Turturro, Stanley Tucci, and Kristen Stewart filling out the cast. The movie covers two weeks in the producer's life as he tries to get a new film off the ground.
Bruce Willis shows up as himself in the film, and this clip shows just how much fun Willis can have at his own expense. The setup is that De Niro wants Bruce to shave his beard for the role. If you're at work, it's probably not a good idea to have the speakers up very loud.
Though it's be-boppin' around the world at various festivals, What Just Happened? will happen in the U.S. on October 3rd.

Microsoft and Epic Games’ third-person action game “Gears of War” is coming to the big screen, and Len Wiseman is on board to direct the project, according to Variety.
The game follows a bloody battle between humans and ruthless race of creatures known as the Locust Horde. The central character is Marcus Fenix, a former war hero who leads his squad through the war against the Locust forces.
Stuart Beattie wrote a first draft for the film, which Chris Morgan (“The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift”) is updating.
Wiseman also directed “Underworld” and “Underworld: Evolution.” He most recently helmed the Bruce Willis vehicle “Live Free or Die Hard.”
So what do you guys think about this one? I have to admit I never played the game before. Does it have big-screen potential?

Boxers Joe Calzaghe and Bernard Hopkins brought the stars out in Las Vegas on Saturday night as Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone and Catherine Zeta-jones claimed ringside seats at their light heavyweight clash.
The V.I.P. section of the crowd at the Planet Hollywood-sponsored fight night was a who's who of celebrities with Willis, Stallone and Zeta-Jones seated alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, Simon Cowell, Tom Jones, Jay-z and Jim Belushi.
Crooner Jones also served as one of the night's pre-fight performers, singing the Welsh national anthem for Calzaghe; R+B singer Ray J then belted out an off-key rendition of the U.S. national anthem.
And just like Jones, wearing a purple suit and a yellow daffodil in his lapel, won the pre-bout singing contest, Welshman Calzaghe defeated American Hopkins in a split decision after 12 action-packed rounds of boxing to claim the light heavyweight crown.
The celebrity guests were all on their best behaviour, apart from Rocky star Stallone, who constantly yelled at the boxers and, at one point, rose from his seat to protest a low-blow from Calzaghe that landed in Hopkins' groin, prompting a halt to fight as the winded American attempted to regain his composure.
