Nam Joo Hyuk is a South Korean actor and model. His original dream was to play professional Basketball but an injury and surgery ended that dream. In 2013 he began a modeling career and made his acting debut in 2014 on the television drama called, Surplus Princess. Awards: Best New Actor 2018 at Blue Dragon Film Awards. Best New actor 2016 at MBC Drama Awards. Popular Actor Award 2015 KBS Drama Awards. Best New Actor 2015 at APAN Star Awards.Nam Joo Hyuk brings mesmerizing romance to his South Korean leading actor roles and there is magic in his eyes that is undeniably romantic.- Ahn Hyo-Seop was born on April 17, 1995 in Seoul, South Korea. He has an older brother and a younger sister. When he was 7 years old, his family immigrated to Toronto, Canada, where he learned to speak English and he took the English name Paul Ahn. He returned alone to South Korea when he was 17. Hyo-Seop graduated from Kookmin University, with a degree in International Business. He was discovered by JYP Entertainment where he was a music trainee and was offered to be in the Kpop group GOT7, he declined the offer. Although he is talented in singing, dancing, violin, and piano, his main interest was becoming an actor. He has succeeded as an actor in the Kdramas Still 17, Dr. Romantic 2, Abyss, Lovers of the Red Sky, and The Office Blind Date.. He won Best New Actor in 2018 at the SBS Drama Awards and in 2020 at the BaekSang Arts Awards. Ahn Hyo-Seop won Excellent Actor in 2020 at the SBS Drama Awards. He won Excellent Actor and Best Couple at the 2021 SBS Drama Awards.I can't get enough of The Office Blind Date (A Business Proposal in the US on Netflix), where Ahn Hyo-Seop plays the character of Kang Tae Mu. It is the most hysterical corporate K-drama I have ever watched, and couldn't stop laughing for practically any moment, and that says a lot because not much makes me laugh. I and also loved the leading female Se-Jeong Kim as Shin Ha Ri that he seems to have good chemistry with on the screen. I very rarely mention a female star on a male actor list, so that says a lot about Se-Jeong Kim; she brings so much humor to the show alongside Ahn Hyo-Seop.
Abyss is a K-Drama which can be seen on Netflix. On Netflix in the US as Abyss. Ahn Hyo-Seop plays Cha Min who was the most handsome and cutest romantic with his girlfriend Go Se-Yeon.
#ABusinessProposal #OfficeBlindDate - Hyun Bin, born in 1982, had a typical childhood as the youngest son of a family with loving parents and a strong older brother. In high school, he fell in love with the allure of acting in a theater club he joined on the advice of a senior, but he was opposed by his father, who wanted him to pursue a normal life. His father, unable to oppose his son's desire, set a condition that he would root for him if he was admitted by the Theater and Film Department of 'Chung-Ang University,' which was coveted by aspiring actors at the time. Hyun Bin was firmly accepted and demonstrated his enthusiasm.
After debuting in a minor role in the 2003 drama 'Bodyguard,' Hyun Bin began his acting career earnestly. The same year, he played an attractive college student in the sitcom 'Nonstop 4,' which dealt with campus life and began gaining popularity. He shot to fame in 2004 after delivering an outstanding performance in the drama 'Island.' His subtle emotional portrayal of the role was sufficient to announce the advent of a new star.
He reached the pinnacle of his career for the first time in 2005 with 'My Name is Kim Sam-soon,' a smash drama that achieved a record audience rating of 50%. He did not settle for being a romance star but continued experimenting with different genres and characters. He continued to feature in dramas such as 'The Snow Queen(2006)' 'Friends: Our Legend(2009),' and 'The World that They Live In(2008),' as well as films such as 'I Am Happy(2008),' 'Late Autumn(2010),' 'Come Rain, Come Shine(2011),' and so on, widening his acting range and cementing his place as a character actor.
Hyun Bin reached the peak of his career for the second time in 2011 when he won the grand prize at the renowned Baeksang Arts Awards for the hit drama 'Secret Garden,' which caused Asia to succumb to the 'Hyun Bin Syndrome.' However, when at the top, he volunteered to join the Marine Corps to complete his national military duty responsibilities. This enthralled the fans even more, as he resumed his life sublimely and silently rather than clinging to the 'climax' moment that had come to him.
After being discharged from the military, he pursued more public-friendly works and chose paths that other actors did not. From 'The Fatal Encounter(2014),' about the young days of King Jeongjo, who is regarded as the last sage in Joseon history, to the 'Confidential Assignment(2017)' series, about inter-Korean cooperation, and 'Rampant(2018),' about a zombie dystopia in the Joseon Dynasty, he captivated the audience with a variety of entertaining films. As a result, Hyun Bin cemented his reputation as an actor who values both popularity and excellence, not only in TV shows but also on the big screen.
He reclaimed the top spot in 2020. He had a worldwide smash hit with the drama 'Crash Landing on You,' which became a hot issue as he reunited with actress Son Ye-jin, with whom he previously collaborated on the film 'The Negotiation(2018).' Hyun Bin portrayed Ri Jeong-hyeok, a North Korean soldier who falls in love with a female protagonist who crash-lands in North Korea. The drama has been dubbed the 'Hyun Bin Genre,' since he demonstrated a diverse range of acting in romance, melodrama, and action, demonstrating his potential as a global star.
Following COVID-19, he demonstrated his unequaled influence by rejuvenating the moribund Korean film business by participating in a string of blockbusters, including 'Confidential Assignment 2: International' and 'The Point Men.' He recently announced plans to meet the public with the hit film 'Harbin,' based on the life of Korean independence activist Ahn Jung-geun.
Memories of the Alhambra on Netflix, you've got to believe this is one of the best K-Drama out there!!!! This is a must watch K-Drama. I am hoping for a second season. Hyun Bin I hope will be back on Netflix and hopefully they will pick up another season for this excellent K-Drama.
In Crash Landing on You on Netflix, Hyun Bin played the part of Jeong-hyeok a North Korean Special Forces Captain on the front lines and Son Ye-jin who plays the part of Yoon Se-ri a Corporate Heiress who accidentally crashes from a hand gliding accident and ends up in North Korea. The story is full of romance, drama, comedy, hope and love. Hyun Bin plays the part perfectly as I can see from his Bio that he has the perfect military experience to portray this character - his seriousness, loyal to his county, but has a heart too and willing to protect at any cost. This show is about what real men are made of and Hyun Bin is the perfect match. #CrashLandingOnYou #Memories of the Alhambra #HyunBin - He made his debut in 2014 after his military service in the TV drama Bride of the Century, after an appearance in the music video "Moya" in 2013.
His popularity started to grow, in 2016, with a special appearance in the drama Goblin, as Choi Tae-Hee, the first love of the female lead, Ji Eun-Tak ( the actress Kim Go Eun). In the same year, he appeared in a more relevant role in the drama White Nights, as Tak.
In 2017, his outstanding performances in the dramas While You Were Sleeping and Prison Playbook made him more and more popular amongst the insiders.
Jung Haein's achievements did not come overnight. In the first years of his career, he worked on strengthening his acting skills by appearing in several independent and short films. He got every possible chance to closely watch the performances of prominent actors. Every experience was precious to him to build up his career.
In Spring 2018, his popularity impressively rose thanks to the JTBC drama Something in the Rain, in which he acted beside Son Ye-Jin as the lead character.
In the second half of 2018, he joined actress Kim Go-Eun and director Jung Ji-Woo in the movie Tune In For Love, released on August 28, 2019.
In 2019, he appeared in the lead role - as Yoo Ji-Ho - with Han Ji-Min in the MBC drama One Spring Night - written and directed by the same team who created Something In The Rain - and as Sang-Pil, the co-lead in the movie Start-Up, directed by Choi Jeong-Yeol.
In March 2020, starred in tvN drama A Piece Of Your Mind in the lead role of Moon Ha Won, an AI programmer gifted and sensitive.
Something In The Rain, Tune In For Love and One Spring Night - all available on Netflix - have been three consecutive box office hits, loved by the audience and the critics. Jung Hae-In received reviews for always showing the character itself with emotional acting, delicate and intense.
August 2021, with the D.P. release on Netflix, marks a turning point in Jung Haein's career. With his intense Ahn Junho, the young man assigned to the deserter pursuit unit while serving in his military service puts the versatility of his talent to the test and comes out highly successful. The webtoon this series is based on, written by Kim Bo-tong, garnered over 10 million views for its realistic portrayal of the brutal violence and human rights violations committed in the military. D.P.'s international success and the praise he received for his outstanding performance led him to represent South Korea in Netflix's celebratory event, Tudum.
The year 2021, which also saw him starring in the short film Blue Happiness directed by his friend Lee Je-hoon as part of the Unframed project, comes to a close with the release of Snowdrop, Disney's first original Asian series launched by the Disney Plus platform and the Korean JTBC. Thanks to the powerful and multifaceted performance of Jung Haein in the leading role, Lim Sooho, the series allows Disney a significant debut in the Asian market, ranking as the most-watched in several regions. Acclaimed Japanese director Takashi Miike casts him in the lead role, Ha Dong Soo for his first Korean project, the Connect series, expected in December also on Disney Plus. Meanwhile, 2022 sees Jung Haein busy filming the second season of D.P., renewed by Netflix in December 2021 in light of its incredible success.
After triumphing as Best Actor in the eighth Apan Awards, Jung Haein headlined the 27th Busan International Film Festival with the world premiere of Connect, which generated excitement and expectations thanks to the actor and the director. With the release of the series, in December 2022, the actor once again showcased his acting skills, proving that no genre is beyond his reach. His performances have made history in the romantic genre, and they have left a profound mark with the intensity of his characters even in the dramatic, action, and thriller genres.
In July 2023, he led the cast once more in the second season of the Netflix series "D.P.," reprising the role of Ahn Junho. Following the success of the first season, both critics and the audience had immense expectations even before the series' release. Jung Haein did not disappoint, portraying Ahn Junho with a range of expressive nuances, an intensity, and a depth even richer than those expressed in the first season. His performance has garnered enthusiastic reviews worldwide from critics and the public alike. Director Han Junhee calls him "The Face of D.P.," and creator and screenwriter Kim Botong stated that when he enters a room, it's the Ahn Junho he had always imagined who enters.
Jung Haein's established fame as an actor with the potential to embody any character across various genres was solidified by his dazzling performance in "12.12: The Day," Kim SungSu's remarkable success at the end of 2023. Portraying Major Oh JinHo, in just 8 minutes of screen time, Jung Haein infused his intensity into the character, the hero opposing the military insurgency of December 12, 1979, further endearing himself to critics and audiences.
It comes as no surprise that director Ryoo SeungWan, known for his works "Veteran" and "Escape From Mogadishu," chose him for the role of Park SunWoo, the co-lead in "I, The Executioner," the sequel to the "Veteran" saga, alongside Hwang JungMin. Expected to hit theaters in the latter half of 2024, the film is the only Korean production invited to the 77th Festival de Cannes, in the Official Selection.
Summer of 2024 sees Jung Haein's return to the romantic drama with his debut as Choi SeungHyo, a young and esteemed architect, both professionally and personally appreciated, grappling with embarrassing memories and a disruptive return from the past, his childhood friend Bae SeokRyu, portrayed by Jung SoMin, who leads a very different life. The series, acquired by Netflix, will be available for streaming in the summer of 2024 under the title "Golden Boy" (broadcasted in Korea on the tvN network under the title "Mom's Friend's Son").In the Netflix K-Drama D.P., Jung have-In departs from his usual romantic K-Drama role to a more serious K-drama role that focuses on compulsory military service in South Korea. Jung have-In does an exemplary job that I believe deserves an award. I never watch war themed shows and only watched it after a search for the lead actor which I loved in other K-Dramas. So if I say it is worth watching, that says a lot because normally I would have turned something themed like that off. But it intrigued me from the beginning because I was wondering what the "D.P." was, and how my favorite actor would play this type of role and I was not disappointed. That mystery title is divulged in the first episode and I suddenly realized what this show was all about. Jung Hae-in played Private Aho Joon-ho, who grew up street fighting to protect himself and his sister and mother, was disadvantaged, and had an abusive step-dad, and is empathetic to those that get bullied. He had no connections whatsoever. He himself was immediately bullied by the upper ranks during basic training and managed to standout during his placement interview. He had no real previous skills other than delivering pizza but because of his height was placed on the military police detail. Very soon, he was chosen to go "outside" to find deserters and bring them back. The other senior elites are wondering why this junior is chosen so quick to go "outside". His first trip outside changes him and the way he thinks about everything and you will have to watch to see why. There is violence, fights, blood, but also empathetic scenes and lessons to be learned from the series. Season 2 will be coming soon.
In Something in the Rain, Jung Hae-in, male K-Drama actor, plays Seo Joon-hee, the 31 who returned from his 3 year computer game animation designer job in the US who happens to run into his older sister's best friend that he grew up with. She is now a 35 year old career woman named Yoon Jin-ah. When he first sees her walking by while riding his bike to work, his boyish playfulness takes over circling her round and round with his bike while she has fun and tries to catch him. It is clear they had a cute relationship in the past. However, what soon became clearer is that the boyish grin full of energy is also someone who grew up and matured while gone in the US for 3 years and he realizes that he has a crush on her. Age is not an issue for him, but she at first has her doubts. This is only one taboo that gets dealt with throughout the series.
Jung Hae-was the perfect actor to play this part - with both his younger boyish playfulness and also his mature ability to show love, express his love, and stand up for the one he loves despite all of their problems.
In One Spring Night, Jung Hae-In plays his young, boyish, sweet character that is mature in thinking and able to take the lead in relationships when it comes down to someone he loves in romantic K-drama. This K-drama is different in that he plays Yoo Ji-ho, a pharmacist and single father of a 5 year old who is looking for a relationship, but as we soon find out in this series, the librarian he meets is already engaged to a man that the parents approve of due to status and don't really care if there is love or not. The fact that You Ji-ho has a son obviously plays huge part in the series and Jung Hae-In did his acting role beautifully as a father.
#SomethingintheRain #OneSpringNight #DP - Jang Ki-yong was born on 7 August 1992 in Ulsan, South Korea. He is an actor, known for Come and Hug Me (2018), Go Back Couple (2017) and Sweet & Sour (2021).Search WWW on Netflix. My favorite actor in this K-Drama is Jang Ki-yong who played Park Mo-gun, a 28 year old Game Sound CEO and Director who is in love with a 38 year old career woman working for a Search Engine Company who is pitted against her previous employer who was the #1 Search Engine Company. It was very frustrating though to watch Park Morgan get rebuffed so many times but I blame the writers not Jang Ki-Yong as he did a beautiful job playing the part and especially portraying his love for music in the K-drama.
Sweet and Sour Move on Netflix - The title of the movie tells it all I guess, I should have known, but I was hoping that Jang Ki-yong would have played a more sweeter character than a scoundrel boyfriend. I searched for him specifically; I like his acting and hope to see him cast in something else soon. When the movie first came on, I was suspicious and expecting something like this, but the twist was actually different than I thought in the end. #SweetandSour #searchwww #KDrama - Itaewon Class, was the best K-Drama I have seen from the beginning to the ending. Kim Dong-Hee played the supporting role as Jang Geun-soo the 2nd son who is illegitimate and whose father is the CEO of a food company Jangga Group. He is unloved, living on his own and has to support himself. He is just a "kiddie" and has a lot to learn about life. The series itself is captivating every single episode. #ItaewonClass #K-Drama.
Sky Castle on Netflix - My favorite characters were the twin boys on Sky Castle. They were so lovable and cute and wanted to have respect for their father so bad, you just wanted to stay and watch. Jo Byeong-kyu played twin Cha Ki-joon and. Kim Dong-hee played twin Cha Seo-joon. They were perfectly matched and played their roles excellent together. It was perfectly cast and they are what made the series and gave the serious K-drama smiles. #SkyCastle
Extracurricular on Netflix. The main character played by Kim Dong-Hee, Jisoo, is a really nice studious nerd who is one of the smartest and a top student in the school. His main aspiration in life is to graduate and to live a normal life and to get a job that makes enough money to start his own family. His dream is driven by the fact that he is living completely on his own due to his loser parents who left him alone to fend for himself and also some of his choice not to be around his father as well. Somewhat street smart from his father's activities, he starts his own business in which he brokers "security" for compensated dates that he also sets up. He has his financial goal all figured out on how much he will need to pay his tuition, and to complete his dream, pay housing etc. It is only when he allows girls into his life at the prompting of a counselor because he had no friends that things start to take a turn for the worse. The business gets him in deeper than he ever expected. Contains violence and is prostitution themed. #Extraccurricular #Jisoo - Lee Min-ki was born on 16 January 1985. He is an actor, known for Tidal Wave (2009), A Good Day to Have an Affair (2007) and Because This Is My First Life (2017).Beauty Inside on Netflix -
It was the romance and love story between Lee Min-ki who played Seo Do-jae and. Seo Hyun-jin who played an Se-gye. They had a good chemistry and Lee Min-ki was casted perfectly to play the part of someone who was lonely and emotionless and also somewhat naive due to a car accident that he had which caused him serious health issues.
At first the theme reminiscent of shape shifting or as the characters called it "change" was a strange concept but the more you watched it the more interesting it got.
You can be sure to find much romance in this k-drama as well as many hysterical comical scenes, learn many lessons regarding inner beauty, love, relationships with lovers, friends and family.
There is a twist near the ending that is unexpected so make sure to watch the whole series. I appreciate that the actual ending took more than one episode. #KDrama #BeautyInside - Actor

Park was born on December 16, 1988 in Seoul as the oldest of three brothers. After graduation from An-Nam high school, he attended Seoul Institute of the Arts and enlisted for mandatory military service in 2008.
Park made his entertainment debut in 2011 by appearing in the music video of Bang Yong-Guk's single "I Remember." He has then appeared in television dramas Dream High 2 (2012), Pots of Gold (2013), and Witch's Romance (2014). From October 2013 to April 2015, he became the host of Music Bank.
His breakout role came in 2015 as the male lead of the television series She was Pretty.
He had a role in Bong Joon-ho's blockbuster comedy-thriller Parasite (2019).Itaewon Class was the best K-Drama I have seen from the beginning to the ending. Park Seo-joon is an amazing actor who played the lead Park Sae-ro-yi and no other actor would have been able to portray him as well in my opinion. He is emotionless, stern, unwavering in seeking revenge, determined, smart, defending, a risk taker, a bit of a fool, understanding, caring and loving all in one character. You have to admire him for his good work. The series itself is captivating every single episode. #ItaewonClass #K-Drama.- Actor

Park Bo-gum is a South Korean actor. He gained acclaim with his diverse range of roles in film and television and has received numerous awards and nominations for his acting. In 2016, he became the youngest artist to be named Actor of the Year by Gallup Korea and in 2017, became the first actor to top Korea Power Celebrity list by Forbes magazine. Bogum is also an endorser of a wide range of brands in and outside South Korea. The "Park Bo-gum Effect", coined by the Korean Business Research Institute, refers to his consistent high brand reputation ranking indicating his effectiveness as an endorser across different demographics. He was voted by marketing executives as Top Celebrity Endorser of 2017. Park was torchbearer of the 2018 Winter Olympics as "Korea's Representative Actor", and endorser of Coca-Cola.Record of Youth on Netflix in the US. You are bound to really love some characters in this drama I loved Actor Park B-gum as he did an excellent job in his role and he made you love his honesty, compassion, good way of life, responsibility and loyalty to his friends and you wanted him to be 100% happy so bad. Park Bo-Gum was excellent in the drama and his chemistry with "Grandpa" was so touching too. Many of the scenes in the series I am wondering how much of this series is Park Bo-gum's "real" Record of Youth as there were many similar scenes in the series that were actually done in his real life such as the academy award scene, and similar scenes from some of his past successes, and joining the military. I only discovered this after looking up his biography after viewing the series so I was not aware and it made me more interested in his work now. #RecordOfYouth- Actor

Gong Myung is the stage name of Kim Dong Hyeon, a South Korean actor and singer. He is a member of 5urprise, a five-member group launched in 2013.
Gong Myung began acting in 2013 in web series, films and television dramas, including "Splendid Politics" (2015), "Beautiful You" (2015) and "Entertainer" (2016).
He has a younger brother, Doyoung (real name Kim Dong-young), who is a member of the boy group NCT.Revolutionary Love on Netflix
A lot of time is spent on character Kwon Jae-hoon pining for the girl he likes but after 8 years hasn't even told her yet. Kwon Jae-hoon is played by.Myoung Gong who by the way was my favorite actor in this series. It was because of him that I kept watching it. He plays the serious hard worker at the same company where the second son of the owner is from and gets extra assignments of being a "fixer" of all the problems that arise within the company and always has to take the hits for the rich boy. The rich boy considers him his best friend since he doesn't have any other friends. Then of course the poor hardworking girl enters into the picture too.
There are lots of comical moments in this series that make it fun to watch and lot of lighthearted scenes that are funny so it may be fun to watch for that reason. Is it the rich boy or the hard working best friend who does everything for him? He does a great job acting this handsome, straight serious hardworking role with a heart and comical moments.- Lee Dong-Wook is a South Korean actor, entertainer, and model and easily one of the notable faces in Korea's film universe. Lee made his acting debut in 1999 in an MBC single-episode drama. The PD of the drama saw Lee, and proceed to cast him in the teen drama School 2. Lee started to gain recognition with his performance in School 3.
It wasn't till 2005 that Lee finally hit stardom with the romantic comedy My Girl. The drama series became a hit during its run both domestically and across Asia and made Lee a Korean Wave star. He has since starred in the noir Bitter Sweet Life (2008), courtroom drama/comedy Partner (2009), melodrama Scent of a Woman (2011), baseball romantic comedy Wild Romance (2012), period thriller The Fugitive of Joseon (2013), and revenge drama Hotel King (2014), in which he reunited with My Girl co-star Lee Da-Hae. He then starred in the fantasy-action series Blade Man (2014) and the romance drama Bubble Gum (2015).
Lee and comedian Shin Dong-yup took over as MCs of the talk show Strong Heart from April 2012 to January 2013. Lee also joined the reality show Roommate, which aired from 2014 to 2015. From 2016 to 2017, Lee starred alongside Gong Yoo in Kim Eun Sook's fantasy-romance drama Guardian: The Lonely and Great God. The drama was a hit, and along with its success, helped in the resurgence of Lee's acting career. In 2018, Lee starred in the medical drama Life.
In 2019, Lee starred in the romance comedy drama Touch Your Heart alongside Guardian co-star Yoo In Na. The same year, he was confirmed as the host for Produce X101, the fourth season of the survival audition program Produce 101. He starred in Strangers from Hell. He also started hosting his own talk show, Wook Talk, to celebrate his 20th anniversary since his debut.Touch Your Heart on Netflix. There couldn't be a cuter couple than the characters Kwon Junk-row and Oh Yoon-Seo. They worked so well together. It is so funny as the straight laced serious all business top lawyer gets paired with a volunteer who wants to secretly study the role of a lawyer so she can get the job since she has not been able to land a role since a scandal. There is only a 3 month contract and then it's over. The lawyer doesn't know this secret about the acting role though and thinks that she really wants to work in the field. She soon starts to comically loosen him up and he starts to really enjoy having her there. Lee Dong-wook is perfect for the lawyer role as suits the serious business role perfectly and then gets cuter as it goes along starting with a little smile and goes from there. So do they fall in love? Guess you will have to watch it and see. Very worth watching. - Yeon Woo-jin was born on 5 July 1984. He is an actor, known for Seven Day Queen (2017), Divorce Lawyer in Love (2015) and Undercover (2021)."My Shy Boss" on Netflix in the US. Yeon Woo-jin who played Eun Hwan-ki the shy boss who had a tramatic event happen in his office that caused him to hide under his hoodie and not talk to anyone finally being known as the "Silent Monster". His character is developed so well and he plays the part perfectly. He finds a love in the office who brings him out of his shell slowly and has different ways of communicating than verbally - does better at showing someone. He practices the cutest most romantic dance routine in his office at night and gets caught by the one he likes. Later the dance will be how he communicates his love to her.
"Thirdy Nine" on Netflix in the US. I would like to say that Yeon Woo-jin as Kim Seon-woo was best part of the series so all my stars go to him. I actually searched for him as I enjoyed him in the past in younger roles such as My Shy Boss. His roll now as a more mature Doctor with a heart is perfect for him and played it excellent. - Kim Rowoon was born in Seoul, Korea on August 7, 1996. He began his career as a member of the K Pop band SF9 as a lead vocalist, under FNC Entertainment. At 6'3" he has stood out among his peers as an artist, model, brand spokesperson, and actor. His acting career began in 2018 in the TV series Where Stars Land and he was nominated as Best New Actor at the SBS awards. His big break came in 2019 when he starred in the series Extraordinary You. He won 32nd Grimae Award in 2019 and the 2019 MBC drama award for Best New Actor. In 2020 he won the Male Actor Idol of year award and nominated for Entertainer of the Year -Male award, and 2021 he won three awards at the KBS drama awards: Best New Actor, Popularity award Male,, and Best Couple Award for The King's Affection drama series.Tomorrow on Netflix - The main theme of the series is that the the special missions that the special team is in charge of is preventing someone from committing suicide. The lead male Choi Joon-woong who is played by the popular Roowon definitely adds the youth, innocence, good naturedness, good heart, cuteness to the show which is definitely needed for such a grim subject. Each episode is about a different case and the life situation that put them in their sadness and I would suggest to watch Episode 6, A Soul Becomes A Star, about a Korean War Vet. It was very touching and helps to understand what a Vet may go through and does resonate with real life situations and where young Choi Joon-woong really helps the 91 year old understand himself.
She Would Never Know - Thank goodness for Rowan who played Chae Hyun-seung because he is the one that made the series come alive. There could never be such a nice guy in the world anywhere - all my stars go to Rowan who was the perfect actor to play this role of the handsome nicely perfect boyfriend and no one could have done better. #Roowan - Born Kwak Tae Gun on February 27, 1977 he landed his debuting role in 1999 SBS Television Drama KAIST. Im Si-wan (born on December 1, 1988), known mononymously as Siwan, is a South Korean singer and actor. He is a member of the South Korean boyband ZE:A and its sub-group ZE:A Five. As an actor, he is best known for starring in the film The Attorney (2013), and the cable series Misaeng: Incomplete Life (2014), which were both successful in the box office and ratings.Run On in the US on Netflix. Thanks to the stars and actors Siwan and Kang who played Ki Seon-gyeom and Lee Yeong-hwa this series had the cutest and most hysterical scenes ever! I originally passed it over thinking that this would be a boring running K-Drama but was I wrong. This was not boring at all; it was the cutest romantic K-Drama with the funniest scenes. I am so glad I watched it and had plenty of touching scenes in it as well as we learned about what it is like to be a National Athlete and the trials they are put through. I promise you won't regret watching this series. Siwan is a few years older since his last series that I watched and you can tell he has been training as he is really looking good. Siwan plays the National Athlete in the series who retires early due to circumstances on the team and his father's interferences and Kang plays the student artist who brings so much to the series with the second love story that you just can't miss. I hope to see more of both of them on Netflix in the future.
Miseang; Impolite Life in the US on Netflix. I am a little late in finding this great K-Drama on my Netflix list in the US but so glad I finally did. It was compelling and so true to life of a large corporate culture where you have competition to get in, and the team manager always has the worker bee, the connected one, the cute girl, the political ones, the back stabbers, the one's who do it by the book and so on. The lead actor Im Si-wan who plays Jang Geu-ra was the perfect fit for the role and was an award winning actor in my eyes. He got in the company through a connection - Geu-ra was in training to be the Korean Game of Go Pro while in grade school beat the Pros and was a literal genius in the game. He quit Highschool and took the GED so that he could continue on his Pro training until his father passed away which forced him to quit his training and get a job to support his mother. Not having a Highschool diploma, his mother relied on his pro championship connections from the President of the Company for a job after working many menial part time jobs that went no where. He was smarter than any college graduate in problem solving skills and philosophy in most ways but innocent in many other ways such as never even knew how to use a copy machine for example. He soon started using the principles of the GO game in his job to start winning over all the college grads. Through the many ups and downs of successes and failures, this teaches how to never give up but to stick to it and win. #SiWan #ImpoliteLife #RunOn- Kang Tae-oh was born on 20 June 1994 in Incheon, South Korea. A multifaceted talent hailing from South Korea, Lee Dong-min known professionally as Cha Eun-woo is a singer, actor, and model, best known as a member of the popular boy band Astro. With his sharp features and well-defined facial structure, Cha Eun-woo exudes an elegant and charming appearance that has made him a popular figure in the K-Pop industry.
Eunwoo is not only known as a singer but has solidified his mark in the acting realm. He debuted as an actor with a minor role in the film "My Brilliant Life". Shortly after his debut, he had a minor role in the series "The Best Hit", which boosted his fame a little more. He became well known for his good looks and was nicknamed 'Genius Face' by the media for his remarkable aesthetics.
In 2018, Cha was cast in his first TV leading role, JTBC's romantic comedy series "My ID is Gangnam Beauty", which led to his rise in popularity after the series aired. In April 2020, Cha joined "Master in the House" as a fixed cast member, which led to him winning the Rookie Award at the 2020 SBS Entertainment Awards. In December 2020, just around the end of the year, he starred in the tvN coming-of-age romance drama 'True Beauty (2020)' (based on the webtoon of the same name), playing a high school student alongside Moon Ga-young.My ID IS Gangnam Beauty on Netflix. Beauty isn't everything will be the message in this series. The handsome middle schooler character Do Kyung Suk is played by Cha Eun-Woo who does the "perfect" acting job of being "perfect". He notices Kang Mi Rae in middle school who believe she is ugly, since she is alone a lot too and watches her thinking she is funny. Do Kyung Suk is along a lot because everyone wants to befriend him only because he is handsome so he doesn't talk to anyone. As it turns out he ends up going to the same college as her and it doesn't take too long before he recognizes her even with the plastic surgery by her dance moves with her feet. And so the love story romance goes on throughout the story - the ups and downs of beauty and the beast type of story. It is sad at times and lessons to be learned and happy at times too. I hope to see more of Cha Eun-Woo on Netflix in the future. One of my favorite lines in the movie is "parallel lines never meet". #GangnamBeauty #Cha- Actor

He is an actor and executive, known for Romance Is a Bonus Book (2019), Pinocchio (2014) and I Hear Your Voice (2013).Romance Is A Bonus Book in Netflix. Lee Jong-Suk plays the lead Cha Eun Ho and is the perfect actor for the role and is the handsome author in the publishing firm that Kang Dan Yi takes a minuscule job below her talents due to the fact no one wants to give her a job because of her age. The series is set around this publishing firm. A romance story where best friends from childhood due to an accident where Kang Dan Yi saves Cha Eun Ho's life as a boy and for a whole year Cha Eun Ho reads her books while she is in bed recovering and they form a special bond and remain friends for over 10 years. Kim Jae Wook is a South Korean model and actor under the actor's agency "Management SOOP". Kim was born in Seoul, South Korea, but his family went to Japan later on. Kim Jae Wook grew up in Japan until he was 7 years old, then returned to Korea. Due to the time he spent in Japan, he can speak fluent Japanese.
In 2002, Kim debuted as a member of an indie band in the MBC drama "Ruler of Your Own World". After this first role, he concentrated on his modeling career for 5 years. In 2007, he auditioned for and won the role of No Sun-Ki in the 2007 hit drama series "Coffee Prince". The role shot him to fame in both South Korea and several Asian countries. He later appeared in the 2008 drama "The Kingdom of The Winds", and served as the ambassador of goodwill for the 9th Jeonju International Film Festival (JIFF) in May 2008.
Kim then starred in his first film, "Antique", based on the manga "Antique Bakery", which was invited to the 59th Berlin International Film Festival. He played a gay chef working at a bakery. He won the "Best New Actor" award at the 16th Korean Entertainment Awards. In October 2009, he formed a modern rock band named Walrus, where he served as guitarist and vocalist. The name of the group came from the Beatles' single "I Am the Walrus".
Before enlisting in military service in 2011, he played in the rock musical, Hedwig And the Angry Inch, from May 14 until June 19, 2011. Kim made his comeback in the 2013 television series "Who Are You?" after finishing his mandatory military service, playing the dead boyfriend of So Yi-Hyun's character. In 2014, Kim was featured in KBS' period action drama "Inspiring Generation" as Kim Hyun-Joong's rival but quit after episode 8 due to unavoidable circumstances.
Her Private Life - I watched it on Netflix. Kim Jae-wook who plays Ryan Gold, a former talented artist who is struggling with past issues, now turned art director of the Cheum Museum of Art was excellent and the perfect person to play the roll. My favorite scene and saying from the series is when both Ryan Gold and Sung Deok-mi first meet at the art auction, sitting next to each other - Sung Deok-mi notices how handsome Ryan is and gets caught starring at him. Ryan turns to her and says "1987 original art, do you want it?" (meaning himself). So it begins.... the interactions and relationships and comparisons to art/love/family/tender moments, mystery all come to play in the series. Just when you think you have the twist/or twists figured out, there is more - so yes, it is definitely well worth watching! And it has the kind of ending that I feel really good about. #KimJaeWook #HerPrivateWook #1987OriginalArt #DoYouWantIt- Jo Byeong-gyu was born on 23 April 1996 in Seoul, South Korea. He is an actor, known for There Is an Alien Here (2021), The Uncanny Counter (2020) and Arthdal Chronicles (2019).The Uncanny Counter on Netflix - I chose it since I did a search for the main lead Byeong-gyu Jo who I enjoyed on Skycastle. I got the added bonus of one of my favorite female leads as well Se-Jeong Kim who also played in one of the most popular K-Drama out there called Business Proposal, so I couldn't pass this up. Was so glad as it was action filled in every episode, scared the heck out of me but has lots of lighter moments too throughout the series. It is set around a Noodle Shop by day but a team of "counters" that were chosen set out to fight the evil spirits that have taken over people who kill in order to feed their evil spirit to get stronger. The team members seem to all have some kind of connection to each other - their connection to each other is revealed along the way. The main lead So Moon is a Highschool student that was raised by his grandparents because his 2 detective parents died in a car accident with him when he was a child. So Moon was bullied at school and was one of the chosen "counters" to join the team.
#SkyCastle #Cha #UncannyCounter #NoodleShop #Counter - Actor
