Difficult Actors to Work With4 of 48
Charlie Sheen
Is known for being one of the craziest and most difficult actors of all time.
Among his many transgressions, Sheen allegedly raped co-star Corey Haim on the set of Lucas (1986). The claims were corroborated by Haim's longtime friend, Corey Feldman, and co-star, Jamison Newlander, but disputed by both Sheen and by Haim's mother, Judy.
Sheen also clashed with co-star Sean Young on the set of Wall Street (1987). This included taping a piece of paper to Young's back saying, 'I'm a cunt', without her noticing.
Most notably, Sheen was fired from Two and a Half Men (2003) and banned from the Warner Bros. lot after blasting series creator Chuck Lorre, calling him a "stupid, stupid little man and a pussy punk that I'd never want to be like", and making anti-Semitic comments about him, among other things. Sheen also demanded a salary increase, insisting that he was underpaid, despite being the highest-paid actor on television, making $1 million an episode. He had a highly publicized meltdown in the immediate aftermath of these events and continued to lash out at Lorre, as well as co-star, Jon Cryer, for not taking his side. Sheen was ultimately replaced by Ashton Kutcher for the remainder of the show's run.
Sheen was also difficult to work with on the set of Anger Management (2012). His co-star, Selma Blair, was sharply critical of his attitude and work ethic, calling him a 'menace'. Due to Blair's comments, Sheen threatened to quit the show if Blair wasn't fired, and she was let go from the series shortly afterward.
