- DirectorMark RosmanStarsKate McNeilEileen DavidsonJanis WardAfter a seemingly innocent prank goes horribly wrong, a group of sorority sisters are stalked and murdered one by one in their sorority house while throwing a party to celebrate their graduation. This is my without-a-doubt favorite slasher film EVER! I think it deserves to be more recognized.
- DirectorTony MaylamStarsBrian MatthewsLeah AyresBrian BackerA former summer camp caretaker, horribly burned from a prank gone wrong, lurks around an upstate New York summer camp bent on killing the teenagers responsible for his disfigurement. My 2nd all time favorite slasher.
- DirectorAdam WingardStarsSharni VinsonJoe SwanbergAJ BowenWhen the Davison family comes under attack during their wedding anniversary getaway, the gang of mysterious killers soon learns that one of the victims harbors a secret talent for fighting back. One of the best newer slasher movies ever. I think it had one of the best setups in slasher movie history. If you haven`t seen it I highly recommend you won`t regret it.
- DirectorWes CravenStarsHeather LangenkampJohnny DeppRobert EnglundTeenager Nancy Thompson must uncover the dark truth concealed by her parents after she and her friends become targets of the spirit of a serial killer with a bladed glove in their dreams, in which if they die, it kills them in real life.Neat and creative kills! Freddy is one of my favorite famous Slasher movie villain.
- DirectorAmy Holden JonesStarsMichele MichaelsRobin StilleMichael VillellaA female high school student's slumber party turns into a bloodbath, as a newly escaped psychotic serial killer wielding a power drill prowls her neighborhood.Cheesy Slasher film that has a really high body count.
- DirectorSean S. CunninghamStarsBetsy PalmerAdrienne KingJeannine TaylorA group of teenage camp counselors attempt to re-open an abandoned summer camp with a tragic past, but they are stalked by a mysterious, relentless killer.Had almost everything you could ask for! I just didn`t like how dark it was.
P.S. I also didn`t like any of the sequels - DirectorRick RosenthalStarsJamie Lee CurtisDonald PleasenceCharles CyphersWhile Dr. Loomis hunts for Michael Myers, a traumatized Laurie is rushed to Haddonfield Memorial Hospital, and The Shape is not far behind her.Had a lot more action than the 1st and it still had the suspense. I liked it a little more than the first.
- DirectorJames WongStarsDevon SawaAli LarterKerr SmithAfter getting a premonition about a plane crash on his school trip, Alex, a student saves a few of his classmates. However, their situation gets complicated when death starts chasing them.Great creative piece of art! I loved every minute of it.
- DirectorChuck RussellStarsHeather LangenkampRobert EnglundCraig WassonA psychiatrist familiar with knife-wielding dream demon Freddy Krueger helps teens at a mental hospital battle the killer who is invading their dreams. The only sequel I thought that was worthy of being mentioned from this Franchise. Sadly, it obviously doesn`t live up to the original.
- DirectorMichael A. SimpsonStarsPamela SpringsteenRenée EstevezTony HigginsA sex-changed slasher returns as a camp counselor.Awesome and more funnier than the first I thought. This film is basically a cheesy slasher where absolutely nothing is made to be taken seriously. Even the deaths.
- DirectorMark AtkinsStarsDerek OsedachRebekah KochanScot NeryThe film follows Chris Vale (Scot Nery), a young man who was wrongly convicted of murdering his family in 1982, and admitted into an insane asylum based largely on the fact that Chris had been found at home with the bodies by the police. After 10 years of life in the asylum, in which he has been bullied by inmates and staff alike for the incident, Chris has now quite literally turned insane and, to prove his innocence, he escapes from the asylum on October 31 to his home, which is now occupied by a new family who are holding a Halloween party. As the night draws on, Chris attempts to search the house for any clues that will testify his innocence, but in an effort to conceal himself from the partygoers and the authorities who are searching for him, begins his own killing spree that leads to a massacre far worse than the original.Nice gory film that has a really high body count of almost 15. It`s an overall pretty fun film that is a blatant rip off of Halloween.
- DirectorAdam GreenStarsKane HodderJoel David MooreDeon RichmondWhen a group of tourists in a New Orleans haunted swamp tour find themselves stranded in the wilderness, their evening of fun and spooks turns into a horrific nightmare. One of the last great slasher movies I`ve seen recently.
- DirectorJohn CarpenterStarsDonald PleasenceJamie Lee CurtisTony MoranFifteen years after murdering his sister on Halloween night 1963, Michael Myers escapes from a mental hospital and returns to the small town of Haddonfield, Illinois to kill again.Needed a little bit more action I thought!
- DirectorCharles E. Sellier Jr.StarsLilyan ChauvinGilmer McCormickToni NeroLittle Billy witnesses his parents getting killed by Santa after being warned by his senile grandpa that Santa punishes those who are naughty. Now Billy is 18 and out of the orphanage, and he has just become Santa himself.Unrealistic kills but it was very entertaining!
- DirectorPatrick LussierStarsJensen AcklesJaime KingKerr SmithTom returns to his hometown on the tenth anniversary of the Valentine's night massacre that claimed the lives of 22 people. Instead of a homecoming, Tom finds himself suspected of committing the murders, and it seems like his old flame is the only one that believes he's innocent. The only remake of a slasher film I actually care for. It has the gore and suspense that really stands out compared to the original. The kills were pretty weak in the original.
- DirectorJohn FlynnStarsEdward FurlongFrank LangellaT. Ryder SmithA teenager is part of an interactive video game where he kills innocent victims. Later, the murders become real.Pretty original psychological slasher.
- DirectorRobert HiltzikStarsFelissa RoseJonathan TierstenKaren FieldsBunks and showers are a mad stabber's beat at a summer camp strictly for teens.Kind of boring at times. I enjoyed all the death scenes because I didn`t take any of it seriously.
- DirectorSteve MinerStarsJamie Lee CurtisJosh HartnettAdam ArkinLaurie Strode, now the dean of a Northern California private school with an assumed name, must battle the Shape one last time, as the life of her own son hangs in the balance.Last decent sequel of the Halloween franchise.
- DirectorJean PellerinStarsChristopher PlummerMargot KidderSarah LassezSeven teenagers are stalked by a murderous clown while refurbishing an old opera house. Not too bad of a slasher movie. The only issue I would say is the camera that was used.
- DirectorMichael A. SimpsonStarsPamela SpringsteenTracy GriffithMichael J. PollardAfter murdering a young girl, Angela Baker assumes her identity and travels to Camp New Horizons, built on the grounds of the camp she terrorized the year before, and starts killing again.Kind of stupid at times but it has great and creative death scenes.
