Top 10 TV Shows of All Time
This is my top 10 TV shows of all time list. When considering how much I liked a TV series I consider the whole show, not just a few good or bad seasons. Personally I like TV better than films right now. TV is starting to run the entertainment industry. Just in the last 10 years TV has turned from mostly sitcoms and other comedies to mostly shows with a story line. Drama shows are leading the way.
So here you go, my top 10 of all time ranked from favorite show of all time at number 1 to 10th favorite.

Breaking Bad is the perfect TV show. The story line of a shy chemistry teacher turning into a meth dealing kingpin is simply attention grabbing. When I first heard of it I knew I would at least give it a shot.
What was to come was unexpected to say the least. Before this Bryan Cranston was mostly known for that dad on that funny kid show. Not the guy who was going to put on the best acting performance ever maybe. Then there was Aaron Paul... Who? Thats what everyone was saying before Breaking Bad.
The story didnt let up for a minute, and neither did the amazing acting all around. In my eyes Bryan Cranston gave the greatest overall acting performance ever. The evolution of Walter(Heisenberg) White was jaw dropping. If you havent watched the show yet do yourself a favor and watch it. Now! - CreatorDavid BenioffD.B. WeissStarsEmilia ClarkePeter DinklageKit HaringtonNine noble families fight for control over the lands of Westeros, while an ancient enemy returns after being dormant for millennia.9.9/10
If there was a show I would have to think about when seeing if anyone could topple Breaking Bad it would be Game of Thrones.
It is a beautiful, brutal and brilliant show. The setting is breathtaking. You see places that range from the cold north woods to the dry desert.
The story itself is like nothing we have ever seen on TV. George RR Martin is a genius. I think its the first show where no character is safe... NONE! I'm not going to spoil it for people who havent seen it, but literally nobody is safe.
The brutality is another thing that makes this show special. There are plenty of slit throats, crushed heads and impalement's to go around. Its not a show for the squeamish. - CreatorLarry DavidJerry SeinfeldStarsJerry SeinfeldJulia Louis-DreyfusMichael RichardsThe continuing misadventures of neurotic New York City stand-up comedian Jerry Seinfeld and his equally neurotic New York City friends.9.5/10
I will take a great Drama over a comedy any day of the week. I am honestly not a huge comedy fan. That said, Seinfeld is one of the greatest TV shows of all time!
I have been watching Seinfeld since I was probably 12 or 13(I am 21 now). 99% of people my age have never seen Seinfeld, let alone like it. Todays comedies are so stupid its not even funny. People who know/understand real comedy love Seinfeld.
The characters and settings make you wish you were in the room with them. I still fantasize about living in an apartment in NYC because of Seinfeld.
This will be the only Comedy on my list. - CreatorNic PizzolattoIssa LópezStarsVince VaughnColin FarrellRachel McAdamsAnthology series in which police investigations unearth the personal and professional secrets of those involved, both within and outside the law.9.4/10
The setting of this show was the first thing that pulled me in. There is something about the swamps in Louisiana that is creepy and raw. It just feels mysterious.
Matthew McChonaughey gave his best performance ever. He grabbed this show and took it where it needed to go. He led the way. Woody Harrelson held his own too though. Although not as captivating he was in his own way really great. The 2 together were perfect.
The eerie feeling, dynamic of the characters and attention grabbing story was an amazing concoction. - CreatorJames Manos Jr.StarsMichael C. HallJennifer CarpenterDavid ZayasHe's smart. He's lovable. He's Dexter Morgan, America's favorite serial killer, who spends his days solving crimes and nights committing them.9.3/10
You become addicted to the main character Dexter. You love watching this social outcast become a predator at night. I loved rooting for a mass murderer. Thats what made this show so great. It pushed anti-hero to the edge. I mean would you ever expect to be rooting for a mass murderer? Well when he is killing real evil people you find yourself at a crossroads, and thats why this show thrived. You had to choose the guy taking out all the bad guys even though he was a mass murderer. - CreatorFrank DarabontStarsAndrew LincolnNorman ReedusMelissa McBrideSheriff Deputy Rick Grimes wakes up from a coma to learn the world is in ruins and must lead a group of survivors to stay alive.9.2/10
Zombies have been super popular over the last few years, so of course people wanted a Zombie TV show. I thought there could never be a great TV show about zombies. I thought there could be a fun show that didn't last long, but nothing great. Well, I was dead wrong. The Walking dead has done what I thought was impossible. This show is amazing. The acting is great, the story is great, the characters are great.... I don't have much to say about this show other than go watch it if you haven't. - CreatorKurt SutterStarsCharlie HunnamKatey SagalMark Boone JuniorA biker struggles to balance being a father and being involved in an outlaw motorcycle club.9.0/10
Jax(Charlie Hunnam) Teller makes this show what it is. Sure if you had the exact same cast and storyline, but without Hunnam, the show might still be watchable. That said, it wouldn't be as great as it is with him. You cant get enough of him, this is the perfect role for him.
What I like about the show is they are really accurate with how real biker gangs run things. And they don't shy away from violence. - CreatorVince GilliganPeter GouldStarsBob OdenkirkRhea SeehornJonathan BanksThe trials and tribulations of criminal lawyer Jimmy McGill in the years leading up to his fateful run-in with Walter White and Jesse Pinkman.9.0/10
Coming into this series I prayed they wouldnt smudge Breaking Bads legacy with a bad spinoff series. Well they didnt. They made a great show. Its less than 10 episodes in but you can already tell its going to be great. We already know where these characters end up but seeing how they got there is just as fun. Lets keep watching and I will update this. - CreatorGreg BerlantiMarc GuggenheimAndrew KreisbergStarsStephen AmellKatie CassidyDavid RamseySpoiled billionaire playboy Oliver Queen is missing and presumed dead when his yacht is lost at sea.
