- StarsCerrie BurnellCat SandionAlex WintersA sequel series to the highly successful CBeebies House Show, CBeebies Adventures takes its preschool viewers on the further days in the life of Dodge T. Dog, Oucho T. Cactus, and their human friends Cerrie, Alex, Sid, Andy, Sam, Cat, and Ben, who sing, dance, and get along diversely. The format of each show is essentially the same, with certain set-pieces, such as the Story Circle and cartoons such as Wally and Russell and the Crocs. Some of the songs and stories are repeated in different episodes but blend in well enough and are of such quality that it doesn't seem like cheating. CBeebies Adventures will walk a fine line, with great success. Never are kids talked down to in each episode. It teaches such concepts as valuing occupations (in "Early Risers") and things in the air ("Up, Up, and Away") in a fun way, without being saccharine or preachy.
