- The river creates and the river destroys in an eternal cycle that even man can't escape.
- A young refugee and his mother flee war and ethnic cleansing in the breakaway Georgian region of Abkhazia, leaving his father behind. After arriving in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi, the young boy encounters difficulties with his mother, and begins a lonely journey back to Abkhazia to find his father.
- Set on the arid seabed of the former Aral Sea, the documentary film "Sea Tomorrow" takes us on a journey into the world after the apocalypse.
- The Great Silk Road is the name for a mountain trade route now identifiable only by train tracks; it is on these tracks that our film finds four children at play, not far from their Kirghizstan village. A train meanders down the mountain and, following an argument, an artist is unceremoniously thrown-off a carriage and (so) eventually encounters the children. This is a film about fate & destiny and how we can become forever changed.
- Ivan is Russian, his neighbor Assan is Kazakh. They live in a small village in Kazakhstan. When Ivan's wife gets pregnant and gives birth to a brown boy, he suspects that she has been cheating on him with Assan. Half a year later, Assan's wife gives birth to a ginger boy. Whom betrayed whom? A conflict is sparked that won't fully rest for 15 years. Marat Sulu's script goes deep under the surface of a Russian - Kazakh family story - profoundly, emotionally and disrespectfully.
- One day in the life of a boy who wishes he could make an ancestral human dream come true and fly. With a machine he has made himself and with the strength of his own muscles, he intends to overcome the force of gravity.
- The Book is a story of a man, who changed his life in the name of a faith in god. This film is a study of a meditation about religion by a man of modern times, an examination of a search for new mental guidelines. A real harmony is possible only in the heart of a sincere believer.
- A modern parable about three brothers whom life has divided as they each went their separate ways. Of their happy childhood and adolescent years together, only a black-and-white photograph remains, capturing the three young men at a table in front of their family home, and memories of the glasshouse that was their father's pride. The youngest brother is now trying to seek the meaning of a dream in which he meets up once more with his two older brothers whom he hasn't seen for years. The oldest is married but longs vainly for a child. The middle son has focused his life on spiritual meditation, and the youngest rises up against any form of authority. The conflicts, ill will and mutual lack of understanding are veiled by images of the times the boys swam in the sea together and built sandcastles. But there is still a little love left, which cannot be destroyed entirely, nor driven from the hearts of people once so tightly bound.
