- Estranged sisters Claire and Tess are reunited after 20 years when they inherit their family's cattle station, "Drover's Run", in the outback of South Australia, following their father's death.
- A holidaying couple is pursued by the thugs of a nearby nuclear storage facility's boss, who is intent on covering up an accidental leak.

- In the wake of the crop-dusting incident, Drovers has lost all its contracts for organic produce. With no cash flow, the bank gives Tess an ultimatum: come up with new contracts in 36 hours or the bank will take possession of the farm.
