- In a small rural town in Kentucky, 18 years in the past, a young boy of 7 years of age David Richardson was accused of killing his mother, and her lover. Once cleared, he went into foster care until he turned 18. He then wondered from place to place unsure of his future until he decided to return to the same town of Hazard. He met a young lady named Mary Walker. They fell in love or so he thought. He caught her cheating on him, and considered killing himself. Unbeknownst to him, she was brutally murdered the very same night. Everyone in town automatically accused him of killing her because of his past.
