- The film is adapted from the novel writer Zhang Xiaoxian the roots of dew. For Love or Money is a Chinese romance film directed by Gao Xixi and starring Liu Yifei and Rain. Originally slated for release on November 11, 2014, the film was moved earlier to November 7, 2014. The film stars Rain as Xu Chengxu, the wealthy heir of a multi-corporation who disguises himself as a poor artist to pursue his love for the arts. Crystal will star as a Rains love interest Xing Lu, the descendent of a fallen noble family.
